What about getting rid of it once it's done?
Quality sells itself,I know two guys off the top of my head who no exagerration can shift genuine tons in a relatively short period of time.

all about connections, that's my limiting factor in scale vs distribution. (+ smallish kahonas in comparison to some of you guys)

You can have the best product but it's no use sat in your house for months..

talking of connections, ive just finished rewatching season 5 of "The wire"

this series is great on so many levels, and particularly interesting to people who grow on any kind of scale. It shows how far a good conection can take you, and the associated dangers

If youve never watched it i would do so, it may just be a tv show but as far as drugs and the drug industry go its pretty factual

Don't quote me but i think the wire was written by a baltimore police veteran of 20 odd years, so i'm sure the realism derived from that.

The Wire is great, but i still wouldn't do business with gangsters, wiggers and wannabes. And nobody regularly doing "hard" drugs. Why invite problems if there is no need too?

Your missing the point dude, the product ( crack, heroin etc ) is irrelevant, it could be anything

for me........the beauty of the series is how it shows the structure and different layers of the drug trade and society, how they overlap and their influences on each other :tiphat:

indeed, it's a network like every other business.

Edit: but obviously frought with more dangers when your freedom is at stake.

hear you on that pal

a few years ago a guy got arrested near me, he was arrested because the community bobby thought his 3 million quid house and sports cars were excessive for someone he saw in the job centre a few weeks previous, a investigation ensued, started small...... got big

turns out he retired age 21, age 47 now, and had been living off the profits of a life long spanish hash connection, he did 3 deals when he was a young kid then never was present at another deal again, he just oversaw and aranged everything ( for over 25 years ). His house was featured in some country home magazine and it was awesome, however the moron claimed benefits so got busted. such a simple thing but cost him everything

had he never claimed he would probably never have been caught.

POCA took 8 million from him in cash in the house and his current account!!!! and they said they reckon there was another 100 mill stashed away oversees that they would never find

his sentence - 4 years lol, no previous so out in 40% of that time, just under 2 years ( they got him after following him for months and finally followed him to a warehouse, monitored the warehouse and a few days later a few hundred kilo of weed was delivered there ) so intent to supply and benefit fraud

your comment about freedom at stake made me think of this guy, and how some people see the risks and rewards differently in this game. I personally would never touch anything thats gonna land me with more than a few years jail................. but stick a 100 million in front of me and ask if i would do 2 years inside for it and im questioning myself lol

that story is madness, ^^

Well it's all relative isn't it,

If you had millions to come out too, or run away with :) then what's two years of your life gone when you're gonna be sitting pretty forever after.

But on the other end of the spectrum there's people not making much, who may get caught with X number of plants and that two years in prison could really fuck up your prospects for life

yeah it upsets me every time i see a news article about someone getting locked up for a small tent or a few plants personal, hell... a day inside for some people will break them let alone a few years and noone deserves that for growing a plant

on a totally different note, i cant give out rep, is that because im under 50 posts or am i missing something really obvious haha

I worked in spain last season, went out originally to do a grow, met some guys and had an interesting summer, the financer/mover-and-shaker I never met, spoke to him once on a sat-phone,but the amount of cash he fronted before the wheels started to turn was unbelievable, and we werent the only team, however I am sure he finished well up on whatever he laid out in advance.

yeah if you hit up malaga and then take the boat over to tanger ( morocco ) you ll see a whole different world, i lived in fez as a kid and trips to tanger were frequent lol..... the rif mountains are pretty dangerous but you dont need to venture farther than the first bar you get to in tanger to score some nice zerozero. last time i was there a tenner gets a good quarter oz of banging stuff.

in terms of grows mate, the moment i get given a sat phone and get told i cant meet the top man is the moment i walk away lol....... what starts as a season could end up a lifetime in prison in different countries.

bankrolling always facinated me however

lets play it out

from his end lets say he sets up 10 sites ( 4 month season ) with 2 staff per site, hes gonna need to pay them at least 2 grand a month, lets say 2.5k...... so 20k already, 10k in supplies/nutes etc, 10k in rent?????......... this is getting expensive already!!!! What about bribes/locals/neighbours........ Hes gonna want another 10k per site just for a bit of insurance. So were at 50k per site

lets say the return is 100k per site, 1 million total. less expenses is 500k, thats a lot of risk and a lot of people for 500k............ factor in a 50% success rate and your half already. 250k now and a lot of risk

but what ratio of operations do get busted?, what ratio fail or get no crops?, what ratio gets stolen by rippers or the growers ??? what ratio get seeded? / what ratio get abandoned by the staff cos there scared etc etc etc

these numbers are the golden ticket to success but unfortunately change with every situation.

Sat phone - obviously not his first rodeo...... but not sure why its needed as sat phones are never used by criminals nowerdays..... since 2002/2003 and the advent of pre pays, it just doesnt make sense unless you wanna act like james bond and look cool lol. Why risk all the associated connections that are needed to purchase the phone ( company checks/gps location data/billing etc )when you can just walk into tesco and get a 100 quid pre paid sim card and use it anywhere in the world with no paper trace

unless he s a pablo escobar type and just rolls like that.......... which aint too uncommon in spain either haha

either way sounds like a blast of a summer, beats working in a office lol

lol

a bit over the top for the extra bit of signal pal but like i said some people just roll like that haha

never used one myself but i know that getting one requires a lot of paperwork and they all can be located by leo instantly due to a chip in the new BGAN sets that are now in use.

However if its getting binned after its use and was bought annonymously then yes its a viable method of communication.......and to throw one in the sea must of been a good laugh pal hehe

:)

ps gone past 50 posts and still cant give rep??????? any ideas on what im missing????
