Think about how much green you have. It requires a LOT of water at this stage- not so much nutes. Water more between nute cycles

This is a really refreshing pc micro, keep on doing what your doing and dont give up!

say matey
im also planning to build a pc grow case with leds,
may i ask - what leds are you using ?

I think he's using COB 10w led's and a 50 watter aswell,
They're like small led chips and you can find them on ebay/amazon and wire them yourself.

Yesterday i have watered with 1,5L ph 6,5 with 1ml of biobloom. We must also consider that the photo are shooted with flash that enphasizes the green.

Woogile, yes, i'm using cob leds. 50w 630nm and 10w 460nm. In flower i have added some leds 5630 warm white 3000k for about 20w.

You misunderstood my comment. Green as in the amount of green leaf surface area. They are consuming/converting vast quantities of light, thereby consuming more water than nutes

Each morning my rez is down ~ 1gal of water AND ppms have risen from ~ 1500, to ~ 1900.

While they are consuming some nutes, they are consuming much more water

Also if in this moment i have 80w of leds in 40x20cm (a lot of watts !) i'm watering my 10 liters of soil only after at less 4-5 days with 1,5L of water. So i think they are not consuming so much water at all.

woogile - the led are powered by the drivers

elrego - i let the soil dry out. i'm watering only after 4-5 days and before i put my finger in the soil for about 2-3 cm to taste if is dried. So i think i never over watered...
Thanks for the link, very useful !

1.5 liters is a lot of water /cm^, but it's a good thing

My tent is 200cm x 400cm (100x yours) and I replenish ~ 1.0-1.5g / day, also a good thing... but, if you are recirculating to rez then the ppms go up dramatically.

My rez is 4g @ ~ 1500ppm, but in 24 hours it is down ~ 1-1g and up 3-400ppm, which is too much

Your tent is 8mq, my pc box is 0,08mq, 100x ! I didn't understand your calculation on ppms. Do you mean that if we replenish every day the ppms (nuts % in the water ?) will rise too much in the soil ? And for me that i watered every 4-5 days ? It's alway good alternate nuts and pure water ?

Yes woogille, myself.

Update !

From my experience with both hpa and various R & D, sipping is much better than gulping, BUT, my medium is super fast draining

An ordinary CPU heatsink can dissipate ~100W of heat so this is a very good choice.

However, you can reduce the temperature on the PC case further more by placing the heatsink outside the case. For that you just have to cut a square/round hole on the 'roof' of the case and bond the heatsink to the case with some screws or even glue.

This way , more height space will be available for the plants. The drivers and all other electronics can be placed outside the box also (because they generate and dissipate heat). This will reduce also the need for forced ventilation and reduce the noise made by the extraction fans.

exactly brother! love the stuff your putting out!

no words, he took them all!

Loving the Micro grow. Only question i have is in every photo you have of your plants I notice darkness in the back ground an no led light when i can see the edge of your pc case. Are you pulling them out and taking pictures durring the dark cycle? Keep up the good work.
