Best use for old leaf?

Say there is leaf from a couple months old as well as fresh leaf (and some tiny or seedy buds, vast majority leaf though), and some that may be a year possibly even 2 years old. What is the best way to use this? Which gives you the best yield or quality? Bubble hash? BHO? Some method I vaguely recollect about using coconut oil and putting it into capsules?

Juicing! Yes!
I was going to suggest that as well.
I haven’t yet tried it yet, but I’ve heard/read amazing things and intend to start soon!
(No coconut oil involved in this; you are literally juicing the leaves using a wheat grass type of juicer.)

Can do it with both, but wet will have a higher moisture content. Bubble hash gets better results if the leaf is fresher. I'd use the newest stuff for bubble hash, the middle aged stuff for oil, and the oldest stuff works best for edibles like coconut oil or bubble.

If you wanna make bubble hash, use “fresh, frosty, frozen” leaves, (use a wooden spoon to stir, rather than a drill), for best results.

If you decide to try juicing, just take the leaves from the plant and pop them into the juicer…wa la!!

If you’d rather make Cannabutter or CannaMilk, follow the recipes in the "cooking with cannabis forum”, there are quite a few…and remember, don’t let it get too hot!

Good luck, Red Fang!

thanks nattygurl and everyone! If we are talking real milk here instead of coconut milk or something, I am lactose intolerant (not as bad as my mom and her mom was though), I could try some for friends... or in a limited fashion, I have it in my cereal in the morning because "things are going to happen then" anyway. But yeah don't drink much milk. As for coconut, I gorged on it once as a kid and got the worst nausea and cramps imaginable and maybe had it coming out of one or both ends too. Now I don't know if it's mind over matter or real but I get a borderline allergic reaction when even having the slightest taste of coconut. Again, friends may like it. They'd consume more of it than me anyway. I am looking forward to eventually trying all these methods. thanks again!

thanks davenothere! I have to find some hungry stoned birds now! I did feed some scrap (unintentionally produced) seed before. I am sure many species ate it, but the chickadees were acting strange and calling more vigorously and strangely than normal. I hoped they enjoyed it but wondered if their altered state made it more dangerous for them in avoiding predators in which case I regret it. I couldn't tell if they were in great distress or thouroughly enjoying themselves, I hope it was the latter. :D anyway, thanks for conjuring up pleasant or otherwise memories! ;)

If it was close trim & popcorn buds, I would try QWISO.

If it was fan leaves & stems I would compost it.

bho or extraction don't waste yout time, you will end up with a black nasty product that looks like tar, tastes like ass, and that has very little potency plus you will be wasting your money on solvents for junk material, pointless. If you must use it, try cooking a milk or making a budder with it, cheapest alternative to extracting the little amount of thc from the junk material plus you might feel more of an affect from the cbn/cbd ingesting it.
