Black Dog LED True 960W Organic Super Lemon Haze 4'x4' Grow

I was cleaning underneath my canopy, cutting all the branches that are not receiving much light to focus the plants energy on other bud sites, and decided to give re-vegging clones from flower a try.

Anyone with experience with this please reply.

Just wanted to follow up on this posting. I took these clones on week 3 flower. They had buds starting to form and a couple had trichomes on the flower. It has been 9 days from when I cut them and here are the results:

They even look healthier from when I took them which may be from the nutrients that are stored in the flower...just a thought. Anyways they are doing great. I will slowly introduce them to the ambient air over the next couple days then transplant them to 4" Grodan cubes.

Thanks man but please don't hijack this thread. If you have a thread that has to do with LED lights or SLH please post, otherwise please rely on your own grow/subject matter to attract viewers.

Thanks for this grow show! Learning a lot. I use the HGL LED and fluoros for the sides.

You said the LED increased flower time, I take it you meant it decreased time of flower?

I have never use anything else so I do not know what my LED does in terms of flower cycle compared to HID.

Will look into the Blackdog LED for future purchase when my current lights start to fade.

TBO, I have, almost, never seen a waste of resources like this show.

You say you have vegged for FOUR MONTHS, a Haze at that. And thats what you can show after 4 weeks of 960Watt 12/12, and I don't know how much money.

If you vegged for FOUR MONTHS and threw your hazes under a 1000 watt Hps, hell even a 600watt and the tent would have have exploded like a green hell of buds, where you would have to cut down 80-90% and still fill up the space up,more than adequately.

With the time and watts you are using, I would already have harvested once, and probably be finished with my 2nd hps grow in less time than your LED grow.

I would have at least 2 kilogram of bud for my trouble and my investment would have been fractions of diving into LED.

I am not averse to investing money in new tech.....Hell I even use a LEP as supplemental lightning, for getting the quality up, however little extra it gives.

The trouble with non HPS is lack of intensity, too little Photons and luminous flux. The PAR is interesting to a degree, but you can get that from CFL and T5s lots cheaper.

The funny thing about Cannabis is that it loves HPS even if the PAR is off with a wide margin. Something that shouldn't matter, does matter...intensity of the light...not lumens, not PAR, that is if you want big amounts of bud.

When it comes to quality, some more blue light helps, hence the LEP. Still lots of things indicate that terpenes and cannabinoids develop more taste and power if they grow above 25C. HPS is a good helper here aswell.

I may be offensive and impolite, but I think to many people waste money on LED's that are sold by con artists and people claiming small lousy grows as big success.

I am simply not impressed by what I seeing, after growing, myself, for 15 years. This looks no better than earlier LED's IMO......

I'm on week 5 flower and the girls are packing it on! These lights are truly surpassing my expectations. The trichome production is like nothing I have seen before:

As far as finishing times go. I have noticed with the higher end LED's that the plants finish a few days earlier than they normally would. SLH is a 70 day strain and this pheno I have been growing for years has always gone 70 days but these plants look on pace to finish around day 65. It looks like I will have to do an identical 1000W HID grow next to prove to some of the LED nonbelievers out there.

After seeing the results of this run, I would really appreciate a side by side comparison grow from you!

Week 6 Update:

On week 6 flower and everything is great! I had a little issue with humidity and it caused some of the leaf tips to dry up in the intense lighting but it's nothing to worry about this late in flower:

Week 6 Bud Shots

Trichomes look amazing and they are really starting to bulk up. It's looking like they will be ready to bring down right on day 63. Could not be more happy with these lights:

Here is a shot of the lowest hanging bud in the canopy:

Chris - are you using a filter of some sort on the shots that aren't all LED purple or just color adjusting in photoshop? or something else?

the nugs look good sir.
