No particular order

Rodney Dangerfield (completely upstaged everyone in Caddy Shack)
Sam Kinison
George Carlin (my all time favorite)
Cheech & Chong ("Dave's not here man")
Bill Hicks
Bill Cosby (I grew up on his albums)
Jim Carrey (I've only seen one of his stand up routines, but it was hysterical)
Robin Williams (best stream-of-consciousness comedian)
Steven Wright
Dennis Leary
Christopher Titus
Joe Rogan
Dave Chappelle (best comedy show on TV ever)

I could go on, but my post would be enormous. I love standup comedy.

How could I forget Dennis Leary... I like his thing about kids being like drunken midgets.
I also loved this Holsten Pils (what ever happened to that beer?) anti drink driving ad in the UK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0lTZWUUJrJg I remember them playing it on the big screen in between bands at a festival. 10,000 people around the main stage waving their arms in the air singing A,SS,HO,LE.....

One person I saw that wasn't mentioned is Bill Burr, funny dude.

Carlin is still my favorite of all time, I was blessed enough to catch him live once.
I cherish that night.

cant really say I have a favorite, I just love comedians as truth tellers and social reporters besides being some of the best sociology commentators on the planet.

if I had to pick one off of the top of my head that I have actually been following is COREY HOLCOMB, dude is funny as shit. he used to do a youtube talk show but then things with the station he was at turned stupid, he left and tried to do it on his own but the production was fuck all horrible so he tweeted about stopping it until he could come back and do it right.

heres one of the shows and the best thing about him is that hes speaking the truth, and much as ppl don't want to hear it what hes saying is true!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fnRXBHXoSqo

another old timer, Mr Warmth himself Don Rickles, when my parents were watching him as a guest on The Tonight Show they'd be howling w/laughter; I'd sneak part way down the stairs where I could watch n' listen from a hidden point, same held true for Joan Rivers, Jonathon Winters, George Carlin and many others, guests or hosts of The Tonight Show.......

Someone I forgot to mention is Eddie Izzard.

If you dig Monty Python humor, you'll probably like Eddie Izzard.

LOL Harry Gypsana.. You'd like us to think that huh? I wont lie I liked their first album.

Lotta love for Richard Pryor, love that dude. I'm still on a Hannibal Buress kick, you guys really need to see the Eric Andre Show, if you like Tim and Eric even slightly you'll like Eric Andre even more imo. I was watchin some Louis CK shit earlier, he's funny as fuck too.

I guess the guys from the show Workaholics do standup, a few of them do at least. I found these funny;

Life is the greatest comedy. Not a fan of some comics, they are almost inhuman in their ways.

Good or bad in his decisions, I like Joe Rogan and their Crew. Not a big Arri Shaffir fan, but he grows on a person. Duncan Trussell, Joey Diaz.

Of course, a good man, Bill Hicks, he's right up there with Kennedy. JFK. Sam Kinison. The classics like Murphy, Pryor and Cosby were entertaining over the years.

This is Patrice Oneal....

He is honest as fuck, funny as hell, and has an understanding of culture, gender, and human behavior that few humans ever develop.

He calls bullshit on EVERYBODIES bullshit, but also gives credit where it's due.

Sadly, he is no longer with us. The stupid motherfucker completely failed to take care of himself and died from issues relating to diabetes at the young age of 41.

Check out "Elephant in the room" or some of his "Black Phillip" radio shows. Be prepared to laugh, LEARN, and be shocked.

RIP "Patreekie"
