Holla Ic mag! So as the title says i'm gearing up for a big run, the whole crop turned into various grades of sift, bubble, iso or Bho.
~I have a few idea's what i'm going to do but thought I would ask what yall would do? So 25-30 plants to be processed around the 3-4 oz of bud on each.I want to see what I end up with, jar wise at the end. (As long as it lasts 8 -10 weeks i'm a happy camper.)lol...
:ying:mack.

holy shit...theres a lot of bud there huh? and u only need it to keep u happy for ten weeks? I would save a half pound of bud and do the rest in bubble hash for the day and bho for your night stash... the unprocessed bud would just be an emergency stash for if all your hash runs out...which it shouldn't hahaha how much do you smoke a day or week?

what are you wanting to do with it ? if it's headed to market it would all get blown with tane if it were mine .. if I wanted something that lasted and got better after a little cure time I'd o bubble hash .. if ya just want some kief for topping bowls I'd go dry ice .. and BHO is far easier to come out with a consistent quality product vs iso , for me anyhow

i have been thinking about this, i would...

save the primo tops for a 6 month dry and cure to be used later

leaf and trim - dry sift

larf and popcorn - bubble

odd leftovers - butter

after 6 month month cure i would sift, bubble and butter the tops

smoke between 1 and 4 oz a week.

Good idea's. It's not for market, just me:mad:)

Skip the ISO... Anything else will be fine.

I find anything past the first few seconds of shaking with dry ice to be unacceptable for smoking... dynamite for making canna-pills with though. :D

Bubble hash is great if you have the right bags. Read up on as many tutorials as you can before you start, it's fairly simple.

BHO can be dangerous but produces a fine product. I don't like petroleum products in my cannabis oil but many people don't have that hangup. :D

Happy Hashing! :D

Thanks. Good idea's too.Whats wrong with iso?

Thanks for the replys guys. ^^This is about what I planned.

I'm thinking get a couple of screens, a la Dry sift wizard,
Knock off the primo heads as a sift first, Then Bubble/ Bho the rest?

I find freezing the bubble will help keep it longer from blackening up too quickly. Although it is some killer couchlock whrn it gets black and some like that.

Iso only comes out badly if you soak it for too long. It's also a bit easier to make than BHO, and isopropyl alcohol is quite cheap. I've gotten light golden oils that looks just like high quality BHO, 1-2 hits and I was done, even after smoking on it for awhile.

i did some dry ice hash on 220 and then sent some everclear through it. now i have a small jar of thc laden everclear. i gave my buddy a 1/4 tsp in a shot of OJ and he called 30 minutes later saying he was an 8/10 and then an hour later saying he was at 10/10 and got the spins for a bit and he's a daily smoker lol.

excellent answer. Bud that is allowed to cure well always makes for better melt.

lol newbs and their pipe dreams...i plan on growing one thousand plants yielding a quarter pound each next year during the outdoor season...should i make a thread asking people what kind of hash i should make in 10 or 12 months? would it serve any purpose? i fail to see how it is even a little bit relevant before you have the finished product in your hands...and at that point if you are capable of producing the type of harvest that you think you are i think you will find that you don't need to ask questions like " what kind of hash should i make"?

there is a reason serious growers don't make threads asking how to set up a 50,000 watt grows or how to trim 100 pounds of buds...if they were actually serious enough to be successful they would have already done all the research necessary far in advance, rather than pandering for admiration amongst the internet community by voicing claims before you accomplish them and revealing a startling lack of basic cannabis processing knowledge.
