So recently had a thread about a Barneys farm pineapple chunk plant, and it was resolved and that plants had to be removed now my only remaining pineapple chunk that I was looking at today i found at the bottom of the plant where it is dense and bushy I was peeking around to make sure everything was healthy and i found an extra frosty looking sugar leave and it immediately caught my eye and upon further inspection it was on all the leaf tips that stick out of the lower buds that are hidden in the middle of the big main branches and their buds and I actually was thinking powdery mildew but now that I'm thinking about it I was always under the impression that PD showed up more on leave it wasnt like rot or other mold that actually forms in those ares due to conditions but its rather in the plant cells being likely to show up anywhere riight? I'm going to take some photos here in a bit and post em hoping that you guys can help me with!??

the big one is still in perfect health but the small one was one big cola... so the other day I noticed it was kind of starting to feel fluffy which was out of the ordinary because typically it was one big rock hard bud, after a few days went by I started noticing the leaves mottling a little and starting to cup and just look deformed as well as wierd brown black and grey coloration on leaves and today the one big coIa has just disappeared!? U can grab it and feel leaves n stem the bud is still there but its just fluffly nothing!?

Over doing the nutes or leaving a light on and interrupting the dark cycle isn't going to cause the insides of a bud to disintegrate. This really does sound like a fungal infection.

I'm thinking Fusarium Wilt which is bad bad news. Hopefully your new pictures will indicate something different.

That plant in your earlier post does look like it was starting to reveg. But those grayish beige leaf tips are scary.

Thanks for the unique reply!! Your right the gray is quite scary that plant was pulled after 2wks with no improvement all the other girls at this point are perfect so what ever it was hasnt transfered knock on wood!! The frustrating part is this plant was my 6th barneys pineapple chunk that hasnt made it to full harvest!!! 4 due to weather and then 2 due to sickness the closest one made it 13wks and was still clearly NOT READY!!! And ive been able to get a decent smell after a good cure out of the ones closer to 13wks but I have NOT been able to get a good flavor always taste like grass!! Its so irritating as I have wanted this strain in its glory since I heard about it and after 6 harvests I still havent been able to see its true aroma and flavor:-( this girl REFUSES to mature without issue apparently! ! Heres the pics of the current pineapples spots im wondering if they are powdery mildew... its been 6 days since I noticed and removed any branches or buds that had shown symptoms and havent seen anything since, it hasnt spread or worsened or anything for that matter...
