Hello happy people!

Just dropped my Cherryjuana F2 and Bubba Kush S1 seeds into water from out good friend Verdant Green and thought it would make sense to start a thread!

I will be dedication a whole cabinet to the Cherryjuana and 1/2 a cab to the Bubba Kush. I plan to grow them out untopped/untrained before making F3s, crosses and selecting a possible mother/father for future runs.

My cabinets have 110w of mixed spectrum (27k & 65k) PLL per cab.

They will be planted into coco once rooted and fed the H3ad recipie throughout.

I will post some photos once they're at the seedling stage.

Hope you all enjoy :)

Pucks look really wet because I just wetted them as they were getting a little dry. I have the lids cracked open to allow the seedlings to breath.

Will be repotting them to their final pots in a day or two, just need to buy some extra pots first!

9/10 on the Cherryjuana and 3/5 on the Bubba Kush.

Ran out of Coco so I really hope they can hold on a few days as I need to order some online.

cool stuff, shame you didnt get an extra bubba or two up... fwiw i think that drying out is much more dangerous for germinating seeds than being kept on the wet side.
i now bury my seeds a bit deeper just to reduce the chance of them drying out in those first few days.

one thing i will day about the cherryjuana is that they seem quite susceptible to stretching in veg/early flower if they are crowded together too close. of course all plants will stretch if crowded as the plants sense the lack of far-red on the lower leaves... but the ChJ seems to do it worse than most. give them a bit of room and they will grow quite short and stocky.

Thanks for the heads up V :)

Unfortunately one of the Bubbas that came up had mutated first leaves and just had cotyledons. Nothing has grown further :(

The other to Bubbas and the 9 CHJ are still in coco pucks unfortunately as I've tan out if coco. As soon as the new bricks arrive they'll all be getting transplanted into their final pots!

All the guys have now been repotted.

The Cherryjuanas are looking good but both Bubbas seem to be mutants :( one only has 1 new leaf growing and the other seems to be shriveled and wrinkled up. I'll keep them going for as long as they live to see if they grow out of these traits.

Will get photos within the next day or two.

Pictures as promised!

Cherryjuanas are loving life. They have a beautiful pattern to their leaves. Will give them another week or so to veg before flipping them. Unsure of what I'll do from there. Make F3s open pollination style, select 1 or two males or make crosses with the other strains I have going.

One of the Bubbas has topped itself somehow. Weird but I can dig it. The other larger Bubba seems to have a gimpy side to it as one half set if leaves is deformed. Again, something I'll allow.

The Cherrys however all look beautiful and smell great. A few a slighter taller, a few slightly shorter. Obviously the Heri and Cherrybomb expressions showing.

Really enjoying growing these out :)

Thanks again V.

Here are the guys as of today, day 15 12/12. I had to chop the top half if a Cherry male down as he grew right into the lights and burned!

I'll try and get some pictures together later on tonight.

All 5 of the Cherry girls have had to be supercropped as they're too tall for my abinets by an easy 3". One has slight heat stress from growing into one if the bulbs(!!) but apart from that they're doing great!

Knocked them all up with some F2 pollen and some Grape Plague pollen as well.

The Cherrys smell pretty much alike, one is slightly muskier which must be the Herri coming through.

Bubbas are coming along nicely. Both seem to look alike apart from one topping itself. They've been hit with the same pollen and with a little Phantom Cookie pollen that may not have taken.
Bubbas both smell kushy. Nothing too deep coming through yet but they seem to be a bit behind everything else I've got going.

Very cool Cabinet Ninja, That's definitely a stretchiy yielding pheno for sure. super-cropping is all about the timing but i've seen boosted results pinching the stems in late flower, and it keeps them from getting burned. -Phantom x Bubba! can't believe that one hasn't been made yet. excellent comp.

Cherryjuana F2 and Bubba Kush S1 at 34 days today. Didn't snag any better pics of the Cherrys as they're all balancing against each other after the super cropping.

They're fairly small. I ran out of my 11cm square pots and could only find 11cm round pots. Their taper is fairly severe which is less than ideal as I'd say they hold half the amount of coco I'd like.
