Nah.

Just noticed Hemphrey missed on all his picks, just as he predicted. :ying:

Correct!!! I was 100% wrong...again...lol!

I'm taking a break from betting on football for a couple weeks. All my picks have sucked since like week 4.

At least I won some money earlier so I could pay my fantasy league without having to use my own cash. I'm doing better on my fantasy league than I am with my weekly parlay picks.

I'm doing pretty terrible in both my leagues but haven't lost any money gambling, mostly due to the fact i havent laid any bets down so far...

Dont know who to start this weekend. Justin blackmon, rueben randle or danny amendola. Those are the choices for a wr spot. The other WR spot is taken with dez. ?

Blackmon has a tougher matchup against SF. Randle is the 3rd receiver in NY behind cruz and Nicks. And danny amendola is a freakin pussy!
ANy help?

How bad did Denver beat Indy? LOL! Go Colt!!

Yeah, Luck and the Colts made a statement with that game. They're one of the more balanced teams in the league, apparently.

Gut pick is to go with either Blackmon or Randle, with a slight edge going to Blackmon. I don't trust Eli...even against the Eagles! That last game was pretty horrendous to watch.

Amendola....Gronk is back and Amendola might not see as many balls because of that...plus they're playing Miami which has a respectable pass defense....but I don't know...the Pats are at home and Brady might be feeling more confident with Gronk back in the mix. That's a tough one.

Agreed Bogart. I have Blackmon in my starting lineup for now. I don't trust Eli either and Amendola needs to prove something before i start him. I think its boom or bust with the Blackmon, but i think it is the best option. Thanks.

My upset pick of the week is WA over Den. Just for shitz an giggles. We shall see.

Id go with blackmon as well, just due to the sheer number of targets hes going to get. Randle, as a 3rd wr, could see 3-7 targets, blackmon twice that...

Im going with kc over cleveland; ive seen jason campbell play, he's not that accurate, doesnt get the ball out quickly, not that mobile. just blah at the games most important position, and kc has the leagues best d.

Saints over Bills; bills d is not weak but will struggle to hold Cool Breeze under 30. Old Fred is running hard but spiller is not 100% and thad lewis is serviceable but nothing more; the fact that marrone is making these young qbs serviceable is admirable but jim kelly they are not. Even Drew Bledsoe they are not.

And i think washington covers the spread vs denver. Not that they hold denver below 30 or even 40 but i think the ***skins keep it within 12 points, RG Knee has his groove back and denvers defense is starting to show that its the weak point of that team.

I got Seattle, Indy and da Bears.
Went 1 for 3 last week, my Wash bet was looking good but then the Broncs scored 38 unanswered. RGKnee made that defense look like the 85 Bears.
And KC was up double digits early on Cleveland but then let their foot off the gas, which mr checkdown alex smith is known to do.
So yeah, this is why betting is stupid.

don't know why the money odds weren't available, I'll replace the table if my source posts them later. :)

As a Bears fan and a Rodgers owner on my fantasy team, I feel conflicted about what happened Monday night.
Picked up Foles to replace Rodgers. Anyone think he'll hold onto the job the rest of the season and tear up the league Peyton-style?
Yeah, me neither...

On the plus side, I went 2 for 3 last week in bets, so now im back to even for the season.
The Indy bet wasnt looking so good sunday night but Mr. Luck proved to be my luck. Didn't see the Bucs jumping out 21-0 on the Hawks though, ruining my bet. Even though they pulled it out, it's kind of worrisome that they're letting these lower echelon teams jump all over them early like that.

Can't believe Calvin Johnson had 300+ yards receiving, that's a videogame number. Megatron indeed.
Unfortunately, the bears run defense is so bad that he might not have a break out game, although Bush and Bell might. Maybe if the bears linebackers would stop running to the wrong gaps they could stop a run play. Wright and Conte are not the run stopping safeties you need with such atrocious linebacker play.

As far as bets this weekend, besides liking the Bears (betting with my heart, i know), I like Carolina (giving up 6 at San Fran, but i think they make it closer than that or out right win, their d is legit vs running qb's and cam is playing well).

I like Buffalo - Pitt is having all sorts of trouble on defense. Dont know if the pats monster game was their offense coming together or the Steelers just unable to stop them, but CJ spiller looks healthy and the steelers might have a worse run d than the bears.

I like Houston - Case keenum seems like a playmaker, and the Cards can be beat.
