Hey Lyry,

Thanks for the welcome. I would love to go to the expo but I'm too busy to make it this Sunday. Let me know how it is!

The only product I use from Advanced is Overdrive. I've reworked the schedule for next run though and i'll be testing a run without it. Going with the whole, "less is more" thought process next time around.

:thank you:

Today I grabbed a sample to take over to the lab. Just need to let it dry out for a few days first.

I have always used Root Riot/Rapid Rooters in the past. They worked fine for me but I found them a little more needy than the Grodan Rockwool Starters. I found there was a thin line between under and overwatering the rooters (which messed up end results), so I decided to try something else

After unpacking the rockwool I rinse it thoroughly with RO + 15ml/g Clonex, pH balanced to 5.6

Take my cutting, place it in the Dip-N-Gro solution for a few seconds, stick it in the rockwool. I give them a little water each day of the same RO + Clonex solution, keeping them moist. I also mist the inside of the dome and the cuttings each day with regular tap water. Trays are under a 4' x 8 bulb T-5 at full power.

As for the seeds, this is the first time I have planted seeds in years, and definitely the first time ever in rockwool. I had no idea if I was doing it right or not, I just did the same thing that I do with my cuttings and they loved it thus far.

:thank you:

Hey bud,

Like LyryC said, you've deff got a green thumb here! :good:
My favorite pics are in post 36, are those the shark shock?
Been hearing about that strain frequently recently so I think I'll have to do some more research.

Does that 8 light setup take a lot of hours of work to maintain weekly?

Thanks for sharing!!!

Hey bud, thanks for checking in.

Post #36 is not the SS, it's the Marty McFly cut. It's the last time I will be running it due to its long flowering period, but as you can tell its certainly a beast.

SS is what I will be running my entire room with next run. I believe there are some pics of it in post #32 or #33. SS is an excellent strain comprised of White Widow and Skunk #1. Extremely fast flowering time and a heavy yielder. Plus its a Mr. Nice genetic, so you know its reliable.

I'd be happy to gift you some teens of the SS should we be in the same place at the same time!

The 8 light SCROG is a room I put together and manage for a member of my collective. The purpose of that room is to be as low maintenance as possible. The member has back problems and this method of growing really requires minimum work for them.
