Very nice Charlie, they seem so different looking from the pheno's I got. Can't wait to see what they look like at the finish.

ThaiBliss, I have some Zamal crosses in flower now. That Zamal/Malawi/Thai really ought to be something special when it finishes.
I'll try to get a pic of my Zamal up soon.

Follow-up from post #7981.
It is now at about 75 days, hard to estimate exactly since a lot of that has been 10/14. So, more like a "real" 90 days of 12/12.
2-3 weeks more, I reckon.

I have also chopped the cross from #7982 and it looks rather nice and intriguing. Can't wait to test.

Zamal/ThaiXNevill's Haze, sorry for the bad pic. This plant is no more then 2' tall. I also have one even shorter that's a Tom Hill Haze cross. Also one male under 2' fully mature. The rest are as tall and lanky as you would expect.

I honestly don't think we'll ever know mate.
When FET was dishing them out he said it was PNG "nativized" to Australia, with whatever other lines were around at the time. I think Fiji and Hawaii were mentioned, as well as a nod to "broadleaves".

You'd have to know (very) old school Aussie growers to get more info, and even then I doubt you'd have much luck. I am just happy that having seen plants from at least three different sources, they all seem close enough to suggest that this is really an old Aussie IBL. More than that I cannot say.

Incidentally, I see another PNG offering has appeared on the horizon, something called "Nanan Bouclou", purportedly a PNG line crossed with something from... Haiti! Apparently it is work from growers in the Cape Tribulation area, and if this is true then there is some plausibility to the PNG claim. The company is called Sοuthern Seeds, I'm not putting a link, I'm sure you can Google it.
If anyone else knows something about this, don't be shy...
