mornin fellers...
im a little sore from the hike yesterday,havent walked that far in a long time,i forget how boring it can be moving that slow....especially when you are with fog breathing flatlanders

pretty cool to see all the plants i know names for now,there was still lots of stuff growing well in the mountains,surprised to see water in some of the streams,one of my favorite places to go really...

the daylight savings thing always messes with me for a week or so,i never set any of the digital timers to automatically compensate for it so the rooms come on an hour earlier than before....it works out well in summer as the lights dont come on until after sundown...but i spaced last night while i was trimming but effectively i fed them at the same time i guess...

still getting my watering dialed in for overnight trips,good thing i didnt go last time as one of the plants got a bit wilty...looks like i will be calling in the plant sitter....
thats good since i talked to my long time camping buddy and he is into driving out to meet me at the nearby parks with camping...that way i can even cheat a little and have him haul a cooler up...and hes also retired so even the longer trips he may tag along or meet me on the road someplace...i'll get him back on a bike if i have to buy him one!

im actually pretty hopeless at the scientific names most of the time since i do have literally hundreds of plant and cactus species here and its not like i really studied any of this stuff in school....im what you might call a "toilet scholar"....as in theres stacks of books in the "gentleman's reading lounge" and i do read for a couple hours a day....it gets absorbed like osmosis rather than in any organized fashion.....plus the only people i ever have actual conversations of any depth are the nursery folks so i really havent the faintest idea how to pronounce most of the names....

i dunno,hard to express,i have hiked that trail dozens and hundreds of times...i really havent the faintest idea anymore...spent many many days tromping around that area...its just a whole other way to appreciate the country...

Had a lot of trifoliate with the Jamaicans I popped. The initial Jamaican hybrid f1 batch as well a the second batch I made, my f1 batch. I cut them all down

Im glad im not the only one who is thrown by something that happens at the same time every year. Twice.

And im glad im not the only one who doesnt worry about changing my timers. But im guessing most folks dont worry bout that.?.




On another note, my power went out for the 3rd time in the past 2 weeks. Im glad I got that battery powerpak thing. Its nice. But wouldnt ya know that when the power went out today it was during the babys nap, and he sleeps with a fan, and my wife made me use it for his fan. So I had to float my clones anyways for a few hours. Worked fine I suppose. I guess now I can technically say ive had sucess in the unc-o-cloner

One was a Great White Shark female.

How'd ya like the GWS Pappy ??? I have 3 GWS X aloha white widows sprouted & growing & my Biesel has the GWS in it .... so i've been curious as to how she is by herself . i've got a pack of seeds that are GWS (shark shock ) from Mr nice i believe .... they will get popped sometime this year .

I also don't ever mess with the timers. they still get 12/12 even if the real time is off by 1hr. Mine is 7pm/7am so now it runs 6 to 6...

wow,just had a walmart sighting of the none too rare florescent FUPA toe....there should be a law against yoga pants in that size!

I sold my van yesterday !!!
I sold it to my youngest kid & his girl ..... they just had a baby recently (our first grandson ) & his jeep died , his girl just went back to work & they have no transportation to get back & forth .... the wife & I have been takin them all over & thats getting real old !!! i took him to look at a car yesterday ... the price was right the car ran great but it needed exhaust , brakes & possibly a brake line . He can't afford to buy a car that needs all kinds of work when he's carrying around the baby .... so i made a deal with him to take my van ..... at least i know he's got a reliable vehicle now ...... but i sold my van !!!!

Well we know that won't last long before you pull in with a new/used van lol...I have a shell on my truck so it like a van lol. I also have the metal that separates the back from the front removed. I can crawl to the back from the front its a quad cab as well.. I used this to sleep in when we went hunting/fishing/camping. I could turn on the heater or AC if I needed to heat or cool the back...

Yeah by spring ..... but i think i'll confiscate the ol'ladys 05 van & just get her a new vehicle then
the vans are a little to big for her .... she'd rather have a blazer or something like that anyways .

LOL, I was a reckless youth and my folks ended up shipping me off to some behavior modifcation school where they could "restrian" ya if you talked back or didn't comply after the third request, anyway..There was a staff that me and a kid use to call "KING FUPA" lol he had NO IDEA.. this was a massive fupa, it needed a sling.

well hopefully you get your payback when you're older and want the kids back around to help....dad always had my back even if he had that dad way of making you feel like crap for needing help,but he always did help so i had no problems dropping everything to stay and take care of him when the time came...

lol,too bad hes not around since i finally started growing up!

got all the plants in solo cups into 1 gallon pots,im going to get set up with the plant sitter just in case the pots arent staying wet enough and maybe think about watering in the morning before i leave and just before lights off or just really soaking the plants for a couple days just before i leave to see if that creates enough of a buffer without drowning the roots...but thursday,camping,keep it simple and go to the closest campground 16 miles away,easy quick trip,almost all flat roads....plus the campground has wifi

gawd,i dont even want to think about it! you know those almost sheer super slutty yoga pants? well this gal had a lot packed into a pair of those....she wasnt like gross fat,more just a big girl,but there was some serious moose knuckle going on!
