More or less light...

I was just wondering what is better... Is it better to have more light the last week or two of flower... Or would it be better to turn the lights down from 1000 to 800 watts... If I turn my lights down a bit it will get a little cooler in my room , also I was just kinda thinking it would be like the begining of the fall time...when plants are outside I would think that they will get less light and cooler temps at the end of their lives because its usually in early October or late September... Any thoughts on this idea. I have never tried this yet but I'm just curious...:tiphat:...

Agree with Vapor. If you want to try something to increase trichome production, and quality, you could leave them in the dark for 48 hrs, before chopping them down. "I've heard", over and over, that this helps, as it is supposed to make the plant give one last gasp of energy. I have no idea if it's "Bro science" or not. I would not reduce the light for any reason, unless it was an emergency, such as really high temps, or a security reason...
Good luck, happy harvest!

I back my lights off about a foot or 18inch.. the last 2-3 days of lights on.. only because.. I feel the little less intesitiy of light allows the terpenes that burn off at extremely low temps to stay.. ive been doing this for a while.. and shit always stinks through 2-3 ziplocks!.
