Why ?...No high....it gives you pleasure, makes you creative, helps you forget your pain and whatever makes you ill.

I think it's important to keep that high/stone in medical cannabis and also for recreational users.

I find it interesting that people are dissing high cbd/low thc strains. There are numerous medical uses for that, and not all use cannabis to get high or to get a buzz. Just saying.

i read about non thc plants in polyploid plants, i think they were using colchicin.

I see the band wagon that a lot of respected breeders is jumping on is the CBD.. What a buzz kill. Nothing I hate worse than smoking weed that don't get me high.

While I agree with you guys about the high....the baby boomers (I being one) that used to enjoy smoking for the high, now want pain relief without the paranoia, the feeling of being stoned. Go figure. I still enjoy the effects one gets from smoking, vaping, edibles. Now on narcotic pain Rx (last 3 yrs), I'm being routinely tested (urine screen) for THC because of the 'narcotic contract" I had to sign. Double entendre since my county is the first in Southern Colorado that will be opening a "store" for recreational cannabis Jan 2014. Come one, come all.

Have friends that need high CBD, low THC for nausea, pain relief and not the high, the stone, the buzz. Maybe hemp is the way to go.

I make an arthritis balm that works well, but got popped w/ positive urine screen. So, in another forum, I asked about low thc/high cbd strains (got several suggestions)....looking to try the Rick Simpson recipe using Everclear grain alcohol to strip cannabis contents, burn off creating oil instead of paint thinner or chemical free derivative.

One day you whippersnappers may run into the same predicament. Smoke while you cann!!!! ;o)

last time I heard, they do not charge for the herb they produce. it is in fact part of the deal with the government and why they are still able to grow for the medical patients.

what patients pay for their 30grs a month goes to the health ministry; patients pay about 0.40 usd per gram.

most patients get high thc bud too btw.

about 2 years ago, when I tried to get a grower's permit for the medical patients at the health ministry, they told me that things in that area were paused since the supposed 'lottery' to assign permits to the applicants was contested by many applicants that did not get a permit, claiming the 'lottery' was rigged, so they took the case to the supreme court. where I think it is still awaiting to be solved.

considering that if in the future many applicants may be able to become caregivers only accepting donations as payback, a lot of the interest is not really financial, imo.

Yeah, but i have smoked Hemp

and i have smoked high in cbd and low in thc strains.

Stuff just gave me a headache.


I medicate daily and im able to perform whatever i want. Specially on high thc low cbd plants. Sativas.

Somehow i think those scientists are not smokers.
