The owner of my hydro shop just opened a huge second location. He said his biggest problem is finding employees to stay. He says everytime they learn to grow, they quit.

But I think ur right, he prolly makes more from his other buisness.

Just got done making some ISO and cleaning some mason jars. I would have rather made bubble, but its too much work for me right now. But at least now ill have something to put trimmed weed in. Guess i cant make any more excuses, time to stop procrastinating and trim some plants.

lol, yeah,i never got why anyone would ask a hydro store employee a grow question....anyone who can already grow aint gonna work an 8 dollar an hour job,and you're mostly going to get stoners who think it would be cool to work in a grow shop, and they make shitty employees...
and to be honest its been a long time since i talked to anyone in person who even remotely knows as much about growing as i do,not to sound arrogant or anything but this is about the only place i can have a conversation about herb that doesnt entail me answering a bunch of questions...not that i really mind doing my best to help, but half the time,or more really,i end up over explaining to the point it just turns to gibberish for most people...the irony for me is that if someone actually knew all the correct botanical terms to accurately describe a problem then of course they would probably know enough to self diagnose....

babbling,very high.....time to garden....

I have a feeling theres going to be a few plants outside the trays in flats to soak up some light & not mess up the perpetual in the trays . i have alot of new genetics coming up & they're gonna need to be flowered so i can decide if their keepers or not & have the clones of them get time IN the trays .

I put over 1400 into my new room by the time i was done
:yoinks:

i figure the new rooms will be at least 5 g's if not more, but once again when you consider the last glue plant was worth almost that much then it seems doable...

I shudder when I think about it. Certainly north of 10 but yes will be easy peasy to pay off once I actually stop investing more into it...and buying shoes.

Speaking of which, I got my new light today. It's a Xtrasun digi 1000 with the Xtrasun 6" reflector. Should be plenty good enough for the 4x4 tent.

Also looking at getting the Merlin 1000 gpd RO filter. That and 2 more 275 gallon toes will be another 800 bucks.

Probably will need a new scrubber and fan since the half of the barn the tent will be in will not be sealed.

At some point yes, it will pay itself off lol.

Oh yeah, gave up on four glue cuts that were in RR's since I had the two rooted in coco. The RR's dried up and low and behold the roots shot out as if to say, "Where's the f'ing water at dude?"

Yeah, I gave them some water. Guess I can start prepping 4 for a run.:woohoo:

great post unc. all around.

your babbling is appreciated:tiphat:

And i totally feel the same way as you. There is only one person in real life i can even begin to have an inteligent conversation with about this stuff. And thats the owner of the hydro shop. I know that sounds stupid for a couple reasons. Mostly your prolly thinking, yeah right, he cant know that much. He really does though. I think he a scientist or something.lol. And all his info always checks out. Anyways other than him, until I found ICmag, i just had to keep all my conversations in my own head. So it felt SOOOO good to find IC and not only have people that can carry an intelligent grow/weed related conversation, but to find A LOT of people who know much much more than myself.

a couple fans a tray a hood a filter etc ...... bulbs were my biggest expense besides the hood .

You guys werent lying about that leak crinkle. It sure is easy to distinguish her.
And I've checked them everyday with a 40x loupe and havent seen one thing, dead or alive. They look great!!
Is a 40x strong enough to see mites?

And not to beat a dead horse, but i cant say enough good stuff about the KLN. Even with my lower humidity than normal, my roots were the thickest ever.

I love this KLN. GOOd look OC!

Nice pappy! Spider mites you can see with the naked eye. To be safe tough I would always check with at least a 30x for broad or russet mites.

That reminds me, dans, you had said the other day you switched your Rhizo for KLN.

In what way? They are different products for different things so I'm curious. Also, because KLN is for ornamental plants only I would hope you only use it to the point of a cut having roots and not any further.

On a sad note I may be done with my LOK. Both cuts in the aero cloner turned to mush on me.

I have a crop on week five so I guess I could try to save it by taking a bud clone. Regeneration is probably out since I lollypop pretty damn good thus no material to grow new growth from.

She's been my bottom bitch for 2 years now, kinda sad but I got so many packs of seed to pop and she was not a great yielding girl so I'll probably let her go.

Maybe the glue will earn the spot now...

really cant say enough good about the glue, its so grower and smoker friendly, the bag appeal is through the roof, just on looks alone most people are sold and then when they crack a bag open and that big grin creeps across their faces you know yah got em!

from a growers perspective it roots quickly and abundantly, grows quickly in veg,is very forgiving of mistakes and bounces back from them quickly.enters into flowering rapidly and begins frost production immediately and is more than done at 63 days, does very well yield wise considering its some of the finest bud i have ever smoked, its easy to trim....oh i could go on and on about it....the bad part,it is very floppy late in flower....very floppy....

just got done out in the garden, they had some really nice blanket flowers and a blue mexican sage and a nice columbine....the butterflies are going absolutely berserk in the yard, just dozens of them everywhere...

Yeah from what I've seen in pics it looks like all that. I think it would grow well with my Chem D x SFV OG.

Both look like about them same big stretch and fat colas not shy about some food.
