Think about it when you're taking Ambien, Xanax, Somas, Heroine, et al.

And, these people study life sciences today like no other. Everything from what happens when your dog eats pesticide, to what happens to you when you microwave a styrofoam container.

I am legally blind and it is VERY DIFFICULT TO post at this place. Hence, I decided to go to Heaven. Ain't dead, tho.

You asked about Uruguay. It did not cost me any $70k, because that is WAAAY outta my reach. The few who know me here remember me from Alabama after the Gulf of Mexico dog & pony show. I became very ill, bleeding continuously from every orifice and every fold of my skin... (blisters, which broke down into ulcers, hard to heal, & I still have scars). I was out in the pasture with my goats when a grey-painted Coast Guard plane flew low over us & sprayed us. Not only did we get hit with Corexit, but also a lab-engineered oil-eating bacteria... Sounds harmless? Our cells are all made of lipids - oils.

Long story short, hubs quit his $70k job at a major shipyard in Mobile. We sold everything we had - goats, pigs, chickens, donkey. Disassembled the sheds & sold them, incubators, all t he shit. Sold our household belongings, appliances, & worldly stuff. Kept certain hand tools (110v wear out here fast on 50Hz, even with a step-down transformer). Power tools cost double here, but if you get good quality (Skil, Stihl, Ryobi), they last.

What we could not sell, we gave away thru FreeCycle.org to people in need. Then, we sold the boat, the cars, even some clothes, and the silver rounds & ingots I had been stashing since the 1980s when they were $7.80. Sold for between $35 and $45/oz when I "liquidated." With this, we bought our tickets and used suitcases from GoodWill for the stuff we wanted to keep. We rented a car, drove to Pensacola, spent the night, hopped a plane to Miami. We got hasseled at checkin by a Cuban fellow who INSISTED we must have a return ticket or we would be jailed upon arrival in Montevideo. Cretin! It is very common people come in one-way - they tour BR, ARG, Chile & fly back home from another country. Duh! (TACA Airlines, MIA to MVD $690/ea in 2011 -- another good deal from LAX. Be sure you don't get a 13-hour layover in Brasil, or you have to buy a $179/ea visa. Try to get a route thru Lima, Peru, or a direct flight. Best rates are NOW until December and after Easter weekend in April). You can avoid the nekkid skanners by walking thru the parking garage to the International terminal at MIA, not sure LAX.

Am not a citizen. Am applying for legal residency. After 8-10 months, I have legal residency and then must wait 3 years whilst committing no crimes and can apply for citizenship.

Cost of living is basically like US until you have your own land & home. We bought a lot for $9k and have built with mostly sweat the first year, total $3200 in cash outlay for 400 sq ft for me & my old man. He will be back in February. Reason he went north for the $? To pay taxes - if your taxes are not current, the USSA will pull your passport. We've just about decided, if they do that, we'll become Chicanos - born in the us but down here... This is the grey zone, in the north. South in MVD is just like NYC. People on the Gold Coast only want your money.

I prefer to live with real people, close to the land, all of us poor but eating well & enjoying one another, not endless "reality TV."

One might notice a correlation. I'm hesitant to write about it, but the first chemical trails in America were noticed about the time that the U.S. handed IG Farben back to the Germans.

And heavy spraying started right after their little celebration that fell a few weeks after 9/11. Which now some are seeing as the opening shot of World War III.

Haveing lost three siblings to desease in the 50,s I would consider vaccination to be essential , millions of lives have been saved.

Are there problems associated with the pathogens that they address? Well, they are PATHOGENS. What is a pathogen? Anything that could kill you, in this case microorganisms (if we are going to call viruses organisms). Did polio kill people? Most definitely.

Have governments done dirt to their people? every god damn one! Does that mean vaccines are bunk? NOPE.

Last year, a doctor in Italy made the claim that "Vaccines make you gay".

Thimerisol isn't in most vaccines, such as the routine childhood jabs, and hasn't been for a decade. It is still in some flu jabs but Thimerisol free jabs are available for those who want them.

Annual epidemics of polio often left victims—mostly children—in braces, crutches, wheelchairs, and, in serious cases, iron lungs. Many of the children that survived experienced life-long consequences from the disease.



In 1940 there were more than 60,000 cases and 3,283 deaths from diphtheria in the UK. Before the 1950s, there were an average of 120,000 cases of whooping cough each year in the UK.

By 2008, vaccination of children had almost eliminated diphtheria (there were just six cases in the UK that year – all imported), and dramatically reduced whooping cough to 1,028 cases.

In the 1920s, diphtheria was a major cause of illness and death for children in the U.S. In 1921, a total of 206,000 cases and 15,520 deaths were reported. From 1922-1926, there were an estimated 1,314 cases of tetanus per year in the U.S. In the late 1940's, the tetanus vaccine was introduced, and tetanus became a disease that was officially counted and tracked by public health officials. In 2000, only 41 cases of tetanus were reported in the U.S.

People who get tetanus suffer from stiffness and spasms of the muscles. The larynx (throat) can close causing breathing and eating difficulties, muscles spasms can cause fractures (breaks) of the spine and long bones, and some people go into a coma, and die. Approximately 20 percent of reported cases end in death.

And don't forget smallpox.

Smallpox ravaged and killed thousands of people in Europe in the 18th century. Once caught, the disease would kill around a third of victims and leave survivors scarred or blinded.

Smallpox was officially declared wiped out in 1980. If it were still common around the world, it would cause an estimated 2 million deaths every year.
