Thanks mate! I think she is doing pretty well! Any ideas on possible yield? I am shooting for 1oz + from her.
Keif, I just want to say thank you for the idea of using the plumbing-style reducer to connect the ducting... I just went out and bought one today so I can copy your method. In the past I just used 6 inch ducting, and I carefully cut it and tapered it so it would fit on the cool tube. That always looked sloppy. Your method kicks ass. 
(I am actually going to set up my mini cool tube this weekend, and I will be using it with my 400w MH/HPS. Even though the bulb is too long to appropriately fit inside the cool tube, it shouldn't block too much light, and will still be workable.)

Hey man, I am very happy that the idea works for you. Did you try it yet? It is a bit of a stretch getting the duct over one side and the reducer over the flange on the cool tube. It will work though! Its much smaller of a profile than using those duct reducers.
I am running at +1* F over room temp. I wonder if I could get away with a 250w. Do you think it would raise it too much? Would a 250 even fit?
It won't melt anything as long as it's not touching the ducting. Though, in my case, it wouldn't even melt then, because I use foil ducting. But I see you are using the plastic kind that probably would melt. Still, as long as it's not touching the walls of the duct, and you have constant airflow, it should be a non-issue.

True, the inside of mine is foil, just plastic on the outside, would make me nervous as I am rarely home.. I may try to find another option.
Just use foil ducting, and problem solved!
I meant to respond to this before... You should easily be able to get an ounce if not considerably more. I routinely pulled ~3.5 ounces from my 150w grows in the past, so it's really not difficult to get a good yield. The only thing I see going on which may impact your yield is that you are letting the plants grow a bit taller than I ever did under a 150. Those things don't throw light very far, so I always kept very tight scrogs under them. My scrogs looked a lot like NKOTS scrog looks in his current grow at the moment... all nice and tight and kept very low down on the screen. That is the trick to getting a large yield under small lights.

Wow looking great. I thought those poweraid bottles looked like a good container in the past. Glad to see they are working so well. They are a little taller than other 32oz containers so I thought they maybe better because the tap root can reach down further. Keep up the good work!
Hey Keif, for the record, I was wrong above, about the 250 being the same dimensions as the 400. Side by side I can see that the 400 is about an inch longer. I just screwed a 250 into my mini cool tube, and it doesn't protrude. The 400 protrudes about an inch. (In case that helps you decide to go ahead and use a 250 with yours).

Thanks brother I think I will go that route next. I hope I don't see the temp climb too much. I was also thinking about running another 150 or finding a way to use my 125w cfl in blue spectrum. Then I could have both lights.

It is the bottom of a two liter soda bottle and the others I use are now paint mixing cups from Home Depot. 36oz.
