Space Saving Idea

Hello IC :tiphat:

i was at my shop today and on the ride home i got an idea..

you can attach the homebox poles which are normally at the side of the box above the lamp, from right to left.
you can do this so you can put your little greenhouse's on the poles to root cuttings in it.
i had some of these poles left so i used them.
now you have more space where the greenhouse would be usually.
they dont need so much light for the rooting process so i think it will be enough.

the picture shows the actual situation..

im gonna try it out, in my greenhouse are fresh cuttings.
lets see if it will work.
you dont need to use a heatmat anymore because under the greenhouse is a 150W MH mounted for the mums.

to prevent the poles from slipping away i put some cable tie and gaffer tape around them.

That looks like it will work out perfect as long as you keep the weight down. You might want to consider adding a small light up there, a cfl in a work light would be enough, or a small floro light would work best

That's actually not a bad idea. I do agree that a single little spiral-style CFL should be suspended from above. :tiphat:

a few cfls should do the trick to root for sure.. make the most out of it.. u could even build a wooden box to make it into 2 veg rooms.. or a clone uptop.. veg down bottom .
