Just wasted every plant with Spectracide's Malathion

I've used it alot of other times. always saw it killed all the spider mites, but this time the eggs were everywhere so i sprayed them (right when the lites went out) two days in a row with about 10ml/quart. alittle more than recommended, but then it doesn't work at all at recommended dosage.

killed 'wm all. fuck this shit. tossed it out.

Just out of curiosity, how was the air movement in this room compared to other times you've used this product on other plants successfully.

"Short-term exposures to high levels of malathion can affect the nervous system causing a variety of symptoms, including headaches, nausea, dizziness, weakness, cramps, diarrhea, excessive sweating, blurred vision and increased heart rate."

"Experimental studies reported increased numbers of liver tumors and a very small increase in the number of tumors in the nose or mouth in laboratory animals fed diets containing malathion."

"Effects on some endocrine glands and changes in some hormone levels were reported in laboratory animals given repeated oral doses of malathion."

I would take your unfortunate sequence of events as a sign to put the malathion down.

Never ever use that .... so dangerous please dispose of that you cant use that poison , just use neem oil as a preventative and you will never have this problem

-just had a fan going the whole time, same as always
-never used gloves or mask, never got sick, washed it off my hands when i was done
-didn't eat it
-yeah, mites were gone man
-oh, they got disposed of alright. not much to do with dead plants

Neem oil eradicated mites and can be used until prior to harvest. Keeping up with it is key

Neem oil is the best for prevention and cure. Key is that you have to keep up with it.

that's really not to much to ask is it ? compared to how deathly sickening the malithion is. don't ever use anything that's not useable up to day of harvest and organic. there is no reason because the safer stuff works if you use it right and research what your up against. just my opinion
