Never sold a clone in my life and have never bought one.If you cant just give one to someone just keep it.It's a plant for crying out loud.
I also enjoy the selection process...
But, I would easily pay for an "elite" under the right circumstances. Can't say how much, that would vary depending on numerous factors.
To me really, it's like paying for sex, or something. As if, you shouldn't have to pay for it necessarily, but you will if you really want it - however, at the end of the day you may contract some unpleasant disease or pest... Lol.

I dunno. I live in an area where there are no clones available. Except for the ones I give to the old timer friends I have. I try to set them up with their own personal grow space so they can grow their own. Some folks just can't do it so I keep them happy with medibles and free smoke. I aint no saint but I firmly believe in the notion of giving to those less fortunate, especially those who are old and sick who get screwed by the system. I don't do it for money, I do it because I can.I honestly believe this....... clones command a price when you know that the person buying it intends to make $$$$. The other side of the coin is this........spread the love folks,give to the ones that have a need. Do you know a person who is ill? Do you know someone that you sell to that is on a low budget??? Give some away!!! Really...there are folks who are in need not greed.Sorry for the rant. I just feel as if money is the bright light in some folks eyes. Take a step back and think.....do I know someone I could help.BTW I am pretty high so forgive me.

My mentor paid the founder of Kush Creams $75 dollars in 2007 for his closely coveted HeadCheese (the same specimen recently featured on the cover of High Times 20 most potent strains edition) included with a contract that he can't create&sell clones... I could go on and on about her. Cases like this I can understand paying money for a cutting.

After someone has spent years and $$ developing a prime strain, it is chickenshit to expect them to gift it. I have seen $1000 go for a premium clone only strain before..and the buyers are still happy with it...but my friends in a med state can play like that...I can't...damnit!

I hold a really quick potent strain I wouldn't sell for 5k. its mine all fucking mine ha ha ha ha ha . but I would gift it to the right person in need of a super quick potent strain.i rocked Daytona beach and Lauderdale . lived 1 street from beach at both . bonged\banged so many hotties even was at the suntan lotion house on da beach. hooked up mtv crews when it all started. so far ive been getting clones from my newly acquired partner. he's got an opt going on with a neighborhood friend of his but the guy just wont take solid advice and thinks he knows everything which always seems to lead to lack luster results
weve been talking again and hes been giving me cuts to work with from the assclown that hes been dealing with. the first set was KALABRESE and CHEM#4 that I lost in due to this past winters freeze.
I got lucky since one of the KALABRESE cuts made it through and my partner was able to get me 2x SOUR KUSH and 3x OG KUSH besides some seeds that are too numerous for me to recall from memory but quality stuff none the less.
still looking to get a small conglomerate/coop going so I can have a community to trade with and amongst. so far ive got me and another friend with some NORTHERN BERRY cuts from PEAKSEEDSBC.COM so I may try to get some of those later on
but I always thought that the ppl on IC joined so that they could talk to each other from miles away and trade cuts after having met one another or is that not the case? anyway if I meet you theres definitely gonna be some manner of trading going on afterwards.
