I'm one for Smelly Strains always have been and grow only because of my Encounters With This.Those Mentioned Will tell you this.. And many more if they Speak up? IE Bs Cheese Bs Cheese Bs Cheese!!!!
The Fortunate Few who've had this Strain Will Agree for Sure this is a Strain that is A DIFFERENT!! Level Smell Wise and Really DOES smell the House out Has also Been Called A Security Risk where the Filter almost Becomes Redundant..... To compare KQ to this is got to say LAUGHABLE which I think is Giving me a headache like I've not had for yrs OR Something else is like this iPhone and no Edit being a Newb also Only a third of the Page is Visible so making Corrections /Alterations is a Real BLAG.
I understand you have never run the Original Brightside Cheese then or the new Altered Version because if you had would know exactly what I'm Saying.
Seriously if you think the KQ smells the House out Then the Above ^^ Would Stink the STREET! Out
When I had LSKQ I thought (being a smell addict) this thing is Naff.BUT
(^) Looks So swell and is a fine yield very Heavy sleep Inducing and for this reason Not a Daytime Smoke.Same IMO with high CBD P98 Bubba Kush. ..(again!?)
BlueMeanie Cxnl are 2 that absolutely KiK its Arse on the Smell front too.Especially the BM.

Just come across this thread and the old KQ debate. I was lucky enough to get hold of a cut of the KQ years ago that was grown by an old member on here called Cheesey: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=206191 Ther are no pics anymore but all I know is that when it was first passed to me it was a very sativa leaning plant and the yields where not the best but the smoke was great, but nothing to write home about. In the years I have owned her I have only kept mums for one lot of cuts then flowered her off and used a cut as a mum and so on. Now when it comes to labeling cuts I am so OCD on it that I take cuts from the one mum at a time label them, put in propagator then on to the next mum so no confusion. What I have noticed is that she still has the same aroma that she always had but is now more Indica leaning with fatter leaves and a lot larger yields and like you rightly say stinks the whole house out if do not have proper filtration. She is white in appearance as loaded with trichs and she go's 8 weeks in flower but very tasty at nine. As she is now my favorite strain she gets a lot more attention so I can hand on heart say that she is the same Killer Queen I got years ago with no confusion at all. I am not running her for a while yet but when I do I will find this thread again and post close ups etc at various stages, and if we have smelly vision by then mate I will get a sample up to see if it's like yours

Who really knows, but all I know is she is a great smoke and can put me on my ass if I do not treat her with respect. She is in fact one of the only strains I have or have owned that I never have built up a tolerance with, yeah I have had to increase the amount I have sometimes but the Volcano on different settings will pretty much always see me wrecked and ready for bed at the end of the bowl. I have also noticed that the stone is heavy and lasts a long time, but when I first had it I actually wrote somewhere that it was ok but nothing to write home about? So maybe it has drifted. So RIP Lonestar and once again thank you for bringing us this amazing strain.

^^ I would never describe KQ as below average in anything mate?? If I was only ever aloud to keep one strain she would be it. Yeah the Blue Meanie was nice but I built up a tolerance to the smoke very quickly.
In no way am i trying to mislead anyone lol its a great strain and it performs well for me. maybe its the way your treating her? Because like I said she has changed since I have been running her and when you had a cut I had not had her long.

lol lones killerqueen is not below average
shes abit fussy yeah but the smoke is great she smells sweet grapey at first then towards end of flower she takes on a sandalwood type of smell shows preflowers in veg nice sativa style leaves grows bushy naturally
mine was abit off this year but shes slowly coming back to full health
ps the smoke is a racey type high to start followed with a numbing effect good for pain relief no doubt
