Who has the Africans? (Other than ACE/CBG)

I'm looking for available African varieties in seed form. I have ACE/CBG covered and have some of Afropips' Malawi on lockdown. I saw Crazy-X has some Durban Poison. Are there any active breeders with the pure Africans available?

JJNYC/Top Dawg has an African Haze offering. Mother is Malawi and the father is JJ's Nigerian x Haze (either original haze or nl5haze I can't remember)

A company called Malberry has several African varieties, Malawi, Swazi, Zambezi, Mozambique. $40 for 12 seeds. Can't vouch for their authenticity, viability or anything else, just what they claim.

Caveat Emptor & all that

Malberry is everything we don't need. Faking photos, lying about landraces. Their existence is a frustration to those of us attempting to separate the wheat from the chaff.

seeds of africa has quite a few african landraces. mustafunk opened a thread on them:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?threadid=245976

here's the only smoke report i've found on any soa strain on page two of the above ic mag link:

Update on the Malawi gold from seeds of Africa. I have cut her at 16 weeks the main colas got realy big towards the end and surprisingly dense, The trics were cloudy and amber on the lower buds and all cloudy on the larger buds. The smell is lemony with oily pepper undertones the real thing for sure. Some buds I took at 14 weeks are now smokeable but I am going to dry them, then make cobs with the main harvest. Friends I have given tastes to are blown away by the speedy trippy high.
I think it will get a lot better once it has cured in the cobs for 4 to 6 months. I now have an Ace seeds malawi fem growing it cracked over night I couldn't believe it, now its growing realy green and strong
I cant wait for the Ace seeds variety as it is rated very highly on this site and I dont doubt it for a second. I will post pics of the dried buds and then cobs on my grow dairy. Tangwena

^ i've found no other grow/smoke report on soa strains so far.

i've got their mozambique, zamal, durban poison, malawi gold and transkei. there is a lot of variation in their durban poison phenos, the zamal beans look too large and the leaf pattern is not like mandala's zamal description nor dubi's of gerrit's zamal cut in zamaldelica. the mozambiques look similar to each other of the two that popped for me and the transkei all look very similar. all are very early seedlings and i'm just doing strain runs indoors for some od test runs.

the strains do look like the real deal as far as pure sativas except for the dp and the zamals. very sativa! :) pure zamal is known to be very difficult to source and durbans are reputed to have lots of phenos ranging from indica types with huge colas to the famous sugar sticks.
mozambique is being given away as freebes by some of the sites carrying soa strains.

my zamal leanng pheno out of zamaldelica is very impressive so far. i just got my first test bud of zamalish from od and she is really nice. zamalish is dominant in crosses from what i can see so her influence is easy to get in crosses. the vigor is exceptional. an early bud dried/no cure smoked very powerful, tasty, up, clean, clear energy. i'll try to get some shots of my zamalish/angola red uploaded. she'll be ready middle november by the looks of things.

The Real Seed Company has Sinai, which is an Egyptian plant. I grew one this year which hermied, which may have been my fault.
(Google: the real seed company sinai)

I consider Egypt to be in Africa.

Too bad that the African Seed Company didn't get back in business again. I'm high on their Tanzanian Magic right now. :) I still have some (African Seed Company) Ethiopian Highland F1 seeds from the Average Seed Company.

From what I've read African Sativas are pretty much like smoking crack, except you're high for like an hour. Very appealing to me anyways, cause I've never wanted to smoke crack but I am open to new experiences.

No idea how crack smokes but the Africans I've smoked keep me buzzed for hours. Kind of like dropping some acid, except nicer.

Whats the appeal of african genetics?

Great high and qualities but much faster and less problems than other renowned tropical strains like South Indians, SE Asians, Colombians, etc... that will flower for 5-6 months and are intersexual almost by definition!
