morning all! so after chatting with dans a bit, i think im going to upgrade my fan and that should (hopefully) solve some of my heat issues. Lookin at a 6" fan thats 400cfm or higher! The ones i was lookin at are valueline and can fans....

6" CanFan HO = 440CFM $135.00
6" Hydrofarm Active Air = 400CFM $81.00

any other suggestions on fan manufacturers....Ive found a couple different brands on amazon like VenTech, iPower, and a few others but not sure of the off brands

i never raced and had a crappy motorcycle but i sure did enjoy when i was a kid...dont even really like riding in cars that much anymore...

Never raced either .... well professionally anyways :) we used to race down the tracks into the city .
I'm not big on getting in Cars either ..... feels like i'm climbing into a small box !!! thats why i like my Vans & bikes .... wide open spaces to travel in or on

I've had good luck with the active air's . they're cfm rating is higher than the Cans too . I have both running now & the AA is equivelant to the Can 6" HO

My Can HO is 381 cfm ??? wtf ???

I hear ya ..... i dunno . maybe the 440 tag is a marketing ploy or something .... but mine doesn't even say on the box what the cfm is ..... i got that off the tag on the fan ..... weird !!! the regular 6" are 226 cfm ..... i've got 2 regulars & an HO plus the AA in my 4 x 4 veg room .... the AA puts out more air than any of the 3 Can fans

so i guess theres your answer ! 6" active air .... cheaper & puts out more air flow

active air is one of the better mid range brands and hydrofarm is good about standing behind their warranty...

another super nice day here, been watering the garden, need to spend a couple hours pulling weeds...keep it all looking sharp...a general housecleaning day anyhow....need to do some cooking and get ready for sunday so when i get home there food pretty well ready to go as i suspect im going to be a bit tired after riding 60 odd miles....not to mention slightly chaffed....

as long as your not someplace with room service i guess its ok....

well, gettin some cleaning done over here, lots of stuff snuck out of its place so just getting everything put away makes it much neater...yah know,so cramped for space here with 3 bedrooms and a workshop! actually it is a bit crowded with all the plants back in the house...almost no space for bikes!

the bike is doing good, pretty happy with the set of 700x38c cyclocross tires i put on,only ridden 30 miles on them so far but they sure do cut rolling resistance, and make the bike ninja quiet,im doing a 60 mile charity ride this weekend, that will be my longest day in the saddle yet,i figure on it taking me around 5 hours at a reasonable pace but there could be enough people i will get sucked into a faster group...at any rate i figure im not going to do it any faster than 4 hours...i know on the usual 2 hour rides i do a couple times a week i can average around 15 mph no matter how much climbing or dirt i ride on,and this will all be pretty flat road and the forecast is for light winds...should be a good ride...
