best mulch for indoor soil?

i have used cane sugar mulch which ended up bringing fungus gnats , i grow in airpots i just want to keep the soil from drying without encouraging any pests ,any feedback appreciated.

i have stopped using mulch indoors for that reason...it attracted bugs into my grow..i now allow the top soil to dry

to stop FG and RA add neem cake to the top 5cm of soil...they like the moist conditions that mulch create

btw saw you posting in the BM thread...do you have BM?

yeh oz unfortunately i do had em for a year now , even after a 3 month shutdown. I think im gettin on top of it ,no chems so far but have some stealth ready to go[ eqiv of avid]

shit...was hoping we were immune down under....but nah...BM are here and have been for ages....lucky i just never seen them before...make spidermites look like pussies...

got a link on where you got stealth from? just want to be prepared. i will also keep feeding neem oil as well....works on most other things....

i got the stealth from norco rural ,90 bux for 1lt. shit is crazy i need to mix 1 ml with 5lt[ ya 1ml for 5litres!] I have been using ogbiowar and heat treatment and i thiiink im gonna be ok.i will keep you posted .From what i have gathered i got them from whitefly , the little fuckers hang on to the whitfies legs , so i suggest that you have no whitefly then u have no broadmite. i am pretty sure neem will keep them from coming in just wont eradicate an infestation. happy growin bro
