i think y'all were sayin sumthin about yer fancy air-oh cloners?
granted it took 3 weeks to get here, but i never even changed the water in the cup and basically ignored them, even ran them out of water and wilted these....and this is one of the backup cuts too,i only kept it around to make sure the first 2 rooted into the cups properly...

..leave it to a bunch of highons to complicate something s'damned simple (at least for soft-tissued/non-woody plants).

$200 for an EZ-CLONER?

Cup of water and windowsill = $0.00

i think this is edging into territory they dont like us to discuss out loud so to speak, its pretty simple though, and cuttings are a lot tougher than you think,i know they can survive up to three days without any problems if packed right...

cloning is one of those things where you have to find a method that works for you,for many people those cloners is how they have success so good for them for finding something that works...the cup thing just happens to suit my style,im never in any rush to take clones since i usually veg for absurd amounts of time so if it takes 2 weeks then no biggie....and generally im only going to keep the first cut to root or the healthiest of the first set to root anyway, and i dont expect every single cutting to root...i like it simple...im dumb, its just easier....

Exactly !!! i've been through every style cloning known to man !!! some worked in my spots ... some didn't . during the summer with AC going ..... the only thing that works here is the aerocloner .... cuz the AC sucks all the moisture out of the air . the rest of the year just cups of coco work fine . i need a heat mat during the winter to keep the temps up ..... but its more about YOUR ENVIRONMENT more than any method !!!

There are some that don't cost 200$. I think 3 of us are using King cloners for $65ea for there 25/36 site..I like mine still @100% of what I put in...Nothing wrong with them there's nothing wrong with a glass of water both work.

:tumbleweed: lol, whats that about no moisture in the air?

not so bad like in mid winter when you cant even walk across the room without building up a static charge...
just starting to crack the domes open on the clones and seedlings which are both growing fast now,it takes a week or more to adjust them to the bone dry air, after that they are fine but if i just took the dome off they would be dry and crispy within an hour...

Yeah I know Unc :)
but your used to it .... i'm not !!! :)

GG's are lookin better !!! the new growth is coming in nice & green ... no new signs of Mag def's ...well .... maybe a little now that i see it up close ..... i'll get it handled !!!

not vegging as fast as I'd like or think they should .... but its a little cooler up here than last time i did them . its at 80 degrees most of the time ...... but it was probably closer to 90 the last time . pots are staying wetter longer etc ..... but i'm sure they'll be fine .

lucky over the years i realized there was a prime window of time for seed popping here, but always nice when it goes smoothly...:dance013:

yeah my technique is certainly not the most productive or cheapest or any other sort of thing like that,it just works for me,simple, easy, low maintenance....im lazy and stupid so it needs to not take a whole lotta time or brain power...

How much were they?

Have you used Gators?

Do you think those function like slicks but add grip.

I can't ride in the rain because I have slick tires and I literally drift

I never needed that window to pop seeds untill i moved into the attic .... that changed EVERYTHING !!! now i can only do them spring or fall before the temps get extreme either way . its all a learning curve that is pretty easily dealt with .

Over the years I have found that heat helps a lot when I pop seeds. to hot they will cook to cold they don't pop. I have my large heat mat connected to a temp controller set to
86F. I touch the PT to see if its warm that's all it needs.. I try to keep it between 85-90f more towards the lower end.

100 bux for a set plus 2 heavy duty tubes and one lightweight one for the seat bag.
they are actually cyclocross tires so they do have some bite in sand...only 20 miles on them so far so hard to say but they are quiet and faster...
dont know what gators are,im not really up on the tech these days,i just ride, dont read any mags or such...

they're doing all kinds of crazy shit with LED lighting now .... now that they're pretty much perfected .... the useage of them is spreading like crazy cuz of the long life span ,brightness capabilities with low heat etc .....i even swapped out all my lights on & in my camper with these ... they last longer & consume less power which is great for my battery life .

evening gents .... puffin time :smoke out:
