I know, was only buggin' you ;) the need for CBD rich plants is very important research. Hard to beat the Harmony for overall high and terpenes, esp in a 8-9 week plant. could be more potent, but concentrated forms are ass kicker ! the nug run BHO I made, was the loudest, tastiest errl, myself or anyone else has tried. was a translucent yellow shatter that coated your pallet with a OG lemon/grapefruit funk taste that lingered for several minutes after the rip...
always wondered if the ol' Jammerz/Jam Sugar/Juicy Fruit would be CBD rich, as it looks so frosty, but has one of the weakest high/stones for a AAA indoor flower ?! and on the other hand, remember at the first TY expo, Canna Steve was smoking on some fresh Cannatonic flowers ? Cannatonic is the flagship CBD strain ( believe it's MK-Ultra x G13/Haze ), but everyone was getting blasted off of it ?! I recall people only being able to handle 1/2 a joint, lol. suppose a higher THC phenotype

well I know one thing, Jamaican Sugar does not get me high ! had a buddies gf, who very rarely puffs, smoke a fatty of jammerz with us and she felt no buzz, after like 10 tokes...my buddy had a hard time discerning it, and was constantly getting "burned" for top $, lol. he would always show me picks and ask " is this that fvckin Jamaican again ?! was told it's hashplant ". nope, that's jammerz, i'd say, lol in fact, there may have been a jammerz/hashplant hybrid going around, as some stuff looked a lot like BCHP, but was all jammerz to smoke

I can't believe all the bs floating around lately about 50/50 cbd/thc types allowing patients to medicate without getting high. Pretty much all hash from traditional hash countries is 50/50 and anyone that has smoked it will agree it gets you high as fuck. Not dissing this thread just general (mis)info floating around. would like to try a 75/25 cbd/thc one day though. I personally cannot tell the difference in effect between 50/50 cbd/thc hash and 100% thc hash with the right terpene profile.. assume it is high myrcene but not certain

Royal Hawaiian was excellent. Wish I still had it. People still ask about her 6-7 years later.
~~ I have made f2s of those Royal Hawaiian seeds outside in Nor. Cali. this year. I might send some in for the server fund..once I see how many I get..money5

Its not Bs its fact that cbd at a 1-1 ratio or greater acts as a receptor modulator for the effect of THC , if the THC is great than 1-1 it will dominate .
Sam the skunkman wanted me to have a clear understanding of the receptor blocking action of CBD many years ago , I was at his place very excited to try synthetic CBD isolate so I could get a clear understanding of its action , Rob Clark was also present he gave me a bag of CBD vapor a few minutes later I felt nothing but a bit weird certainly not high , he than handed me his bong generously filled with his 50 dry sieve hash I smoked that bong and he filled it up twice more with 50 and I puffed hard , Guess what I could not get high from the hash because the receptor was filled with the CBD .
This is part of the reason why its action as a modulator of the effect of thc has to be taken together at a 1-1 ratio or greater , the THC will over power the CBD if its not 1-1 or greater I recently confirmed these ratio's with Ethan Russo .
I hope this helps you to understand the action of CBD and its interaction with THC even if a its a basic explanation .

Sincerely
Charles Scott :thank you:

Big bag our mutual friend gave me 7 grams of it I could not catch a buzz from Steve's Cannatonic LOL our Bald friend either ! must have been more than one bag around Haha he gave it to me to see if I could get high from it !

Thanks Charles this clears it up slightly for me, I was notsuggesting that it is bs that cbd is a receptor blocker only bs that the 50/50 ratio will not get u high. a hashish landrace population averages genetically even portions of pure cbd" pure thc and 50/50 cbd/thc whic sums to a 50/50 ratio.. this would be most or all maroc, afghani etc yet it still gets u high. So i can understand that a greater than 50% cbd may block all effects but most of what is circulating is f1 cbd thc crosses so 50/50 +\- minor variances. Genuinely interested in better understanding this btw not trying to bust your balls as I strive to medicate without effect both for myself and hopefully one day when laws change my autistic child. Not that i dont like to get high sometime too.. just doesnt go over well in boardrooms at 10 am!

I'm guessing that everyone's receptors process CBD differently because I smoke or dab 1:1 (and greater) medication regularly and it do indeed feel the THC effects unless it's from a 20:1 ACDC or similar plant.

In my personal experience I'd estimate the CBD begins to override the THC effects as you described closer to the 2:1 range while my friend can't indulge in any form of CBD without it completely canceling out the THC effects.

Tinctures really are the way to go though. Definitely a shame you can't make them up there

We have so much to learn about receptor process and how different compounds interact .
We also need to establish what effects are subjective effects and those that are grounded in science across the board .
I have to mention that I was pretty dead set about not investing to much time and energy into CBD investigation one important element kept on coming up in my reasoning on the inclusion of CBD in our research .
Many many times people who are very sincere Medical users of Cannabis are frightened by the initial effects they encounter when trying Cannabis the first few times and just say no that is not for me .
Also learning scientific backed information about the analgesic effects of THC compared to other heavily prescribed compounds it became very clear that for people with acute pain arthritic pain and generally localized pain of all types that if we can get them to uptake higher % of THC without the side effect of getting higher than a kite , body stoned or just passing out that we might be able to produce strains that the Dr's could prescribe with a better level of confidence that the side effects would not discourage a committed trial as to the effectiveness of Cannabis .
Despite my personal experience with CBD I kept reading more and more positive reports on its effect on a large variety of conditions We are only now being allowed to truly investigate the benefits of the wanders of our plants I am sure we all will continue to be shocked and amazed by what the plant has yet to teach of as researchers and as a society .

To follow up on the tinctures the BIG question for me hehe , about tinctures is the synergy or "entourage effect" as Described by Dr. Ethan Russo .

I do not think that the reaction between terpenes and THC is the same when ingestion is the delivery route .
Rather this synergy is most profound through vaporization or smoking , please feel free to share your thoughts experiences or opinion I would really love to hear from others with more history with tinctures than my team or I have .
Thanks
Charles

In my body for certain reaction between terpenes and thc are similar when ingested and smoked at least when extracted into butter/ghee. I have used ghee capsules daily for more years than I care to add up and made multiple batches with individual plants and smoke the plants also. The effects match up dead on; heaviest knock out buds tranferred to capsules that put me to sleep second they kick in, favourite smoke ended up being favourite edible and a batch made from bud that triggered some anxiety effects for me (racy and noidy) did thsame thing when eaten. I would agree though that tinctures did not seem to mirror effects from smoking imo ghee or butter works best in this regard and also has the most even release rate, many of the other plant based oils i tried were more spiky so could lead to peaks in effect that were unpleasant.

Keep in mind my experiences are all based on heavy narcotic indica lines, planning to try a batch with 50/50 import hash and also something more on sativa end like congo to see if these results mirror the pure thc narcotic indica types

Thanks for your input I would really like to hear from as may folks as I can on this topic .
It would make senesce that butter or ghee might carry the terpene in a more natural state than a tincture , We really need to establish how the entourage effect works scientifically to fully understand uptake via different routes ingestion vs smoke vapor etc .
I just noticed that my "red Congolese" took 3rd place in the 2013 HTCC in Cali .
I had no idea it was popular in Cali I have a picture of its dad ! woops can't upload as easy as it used to be it was attached to a old thread I was on here .

Harbourside's flower menu lists it, and it's the highest overall in THC, beating out the Chem's and OG's ;)
Red Congolese (S)
18.29% THC, 24.26% THCA $17/60
