1st time making Bubble.

I bought a pack of bubble bags, Simple instructions, I prefer it over the new oil craze. I did save the left over water and material to let my buddy make some BHO since he wont stfu about it.
Only used fan leaves, No sugar leaves, no buds, no keif. just 86 grams of crispy dried out, then frozen fan leaves.
Only the 75u and the 25u gave me anything worth my time. The 100u did appear to have some, but my vision is horrible. Said f it. Rinsed off in the work bucket moved on.
No clue the weight yet, but the left one is the 25u and the right one is the 75u.

11 days into cure, barely any smell. Slight smell.
Hang dry for 7 days.
Weight before jarring was 108g and thats without stems.
Still weighs about 105g today.
When I squeeze a bud, they make a crunch noise, they dont fall apart but they sure dont spring back.
Ive begun to take closeup pictures of my buds. Ive found 2 seeds so far. but they were pretty hidden.
Smoked 1g this morning and it wasnt harsh, didnt snap crackle or pop. But was almost tasteless.
does the job. But will the smell come?
Will these nugs get more dense?
Hang dry for 7 days.

@ al70 : Thanks, I tried 3/4 of it all in a pickle jar. and 1/4 of it in a tupperware. wanted to see if one was better. I think I let her dry 1 day too long. because the smell hasnt come yet. And they didnt seem to sweat. I tried adding a small piece of white bread. And it did seem to help. But the smell went from hay/grass to almost bread.
I said f it. Let it jar/tupperware.
When you smell it, theres nothing.
When you break it open, nothing.
When you grind it, Smells ok.
Gotta smoke double what I would normally smoke.
Not so sticky either.
To me its like hitting a vapor cigarette. kinda flavorless.
Im really thinking it was a mid grade seed, Or that it was just chopped down too early or hung dry one day too many. Possibly a combo of all.

Looks good man! I'm just now starting my first grow, any tips outside of what you see in this thread? And I know there is a lot of tips I can get here, but do you know where I can get like a proverbial starters kit for an indoor grow? Somewhere I can trust?

That depends on many variables.
-What state laws your under?
-Who's house you using?
-Does whomever pays your electric know?
-What's your budget?
-How many you plan on vegging/flowering?
-Will you have 2 rooms or 1 room?
-How much area you have for the room(s)?
-Are any hydroponic stores nearby?
-Do you have friends house(s) you can order to?

When i dry... i hang it in a closet for 3 days. with a fan oscilating at the bottom.
then i de stem it. and throw it in a walmart bag with the top open... and i go in and stir it once a day. wait another 3 days. and blamo trim and enjoy. also... if after trimming i put it in a jar or seal it somehow it really really gains alot of smell. but all of mine is smelly hanging or outside growing or wherever it is... i suggest trying to get a different strain. Genetics really will take you a long way.

DD nice first grow brotha. You said the smell was dim late flower and that's usually a wreak phase, so the lack of smell was most likely due to terpenes lacking in that seed. You may have hung them to dry a little long but oh well. I also think you had a sativa dom strain going there, just my opinion. Lastly that bubble hash you made had a lot of plant matter in it. Really good stuff will be more golden and blonde. You did say you used fans only so its no biggie. Just trying to inform! Still a great job taking care of her.

@Primalraindrop : The drying process is different for all of us, different climates, different A/C temps in house. I hung dry for 6-7 days then tossed it in a jar. The planty smell/taste faded away but still flavorless. the smell is only there if I grind it up. and gotta get close to it. I have a different strain going now. I let this one "behind bed" die off after this next harvest. However I found 5 seeds so far in about 35grams of smoking. So I may decide to revive some day depending how this next harvest turns out. Im 95% positive. I took her down too early. This time ill know for sure. letting her run an extra week or two.
@ thadeous : Thanks, I got my midget running now. I found a bean in a bag of some really purp shit. I call it "last weeks purp" Stinky lil girl. Already at week 10 and stil only 20 inches tall. No pruning. 20-30 small budsites. No main cola.
@ illadelphi : Thanks, well 2nd technically. But my first was years ago and basically same exact setup and results. Some flavorless, need to smoke alot buds. I am almost certain I cut her down too early. And I hung dried her a day or two too long. Not sure on the strain you may be right. This bean wasnt even a bag seed, i found it behind my bed. It was a bag seed at some point sure, but what bag. Mids or good. And I found out with the bubble. Not to use Dry crumbling plant matter. That was my main mistake. Also I used a good bit of fan leaves from the behind bed strain and there was not many visible trichs.

All is well DD, had that been some good genetics you would have had some great smoke. No error in your efforts to keep her healthy.
And yes, dry crumbling matter is no good haha. I trim wet and then throw the trimmings in a container and put them in the freezer. Also when doing the hash use very cold almost freezing water with good solid ice. Also don't work it too hard.
