My Micro Guerilla Grow

On August 5th this year I put 7 rooted clones out in 'guerilla space' ... within 2 days 3 were eaten by deer, 2 weeks later another 3 succumbed to the same fate ... lesson learned, will do better next year with in site choice, protection or both.

The last is hidden in plain sight, relying on the fact that it was not going to get very big going straight into flower. I've visited her once a week to fertilize, but today is the first I've taken pictures ... she's getting quite beautiful. A couple weeks left, only water from here out. I didn't have a yard stick for scale, but she's a hair under 2ft now ...

Anyone else do straight to flower outdoor for a smallish garden?

Nice, that's your hiding-in-plain-sight one? VERY nice! Good luck to you. May the rippers walk right on past her! :tiphat:

Yep, it's in an overgrown, unutilized space about 100ft from a gas station and 25ft off a main arterial road ... gets very little foot traffic nearby, but if you look really hard and know where to look, you can see her from the road.

I'm not overly concerned about rippers ... it's one small plant, I see no evidence of the site being compromised and even if I lost her, she was an experiment to see what would happen -- that said I certainly hope to harvest her!

Woo Hoo! A virgin no more!

My first plant harvested ... ever. She'll have lots of company from indoor (starting tomorrow). But I grabbed my sole outdoor one this morning.

I must confess, I feel a little silly, after posting this, I read the Massive Outdoor Grow thread and saw all the late season urban ones in the hundreds ... and here is my one plant ... lol. But big plans/ideas for next year for sure.

Anyway, here she was before the chop:

And then a couple hours later:

She's hanging to dry now ... I'll probably post the dry weight in a couple weeks, I have no way to gauge ... I'm just happy she finished and wasn't ripped/discovered!

Congratulations!! I also threw a few small plants outside (guerilla) late in the season, straight to flowering. I neglected my (4) small plants a bit so probably won't get as much as you did there - you can see them in my thread "I've never put plants out this late.."

I'll be harvesting sometime this week, most likely. Enjoy the fruits of your labor bud!
