Nice descriptions! It takes some skill to be able to put the subtleties to words looks and sounds nice.. so many different flavors of cannabis... and made that much better having the pride of growing it.

So u just trim right as u pull the plants down? Thats what I usually do too, I was thinking about trying to let them dry first before fine trimming but its just much easier to trim as it comes down i'm thinking... and I am happy with how my buds usually come out.. what do u think?

I usually do most to all of the trimming wet - its easier. Depends on the plant. I had this...

... White Diesel (Album pics say widow but I received the clones mislabeled.) awhile back. I only took off the big fans and left the rest until dry.

I didn't chop. Even though theyre cannibalizing their sugar leaves, there are too many clear trichs. Push 1 more day and take the one with the least reserves Sunday night.

Sersly though - MM ended up at 2 3/4 through the burping process and SLH came in at 3 1/4. Not the 4 I wanted but it still produced more than last time and on a smaller plant. (Remember that tall bitch I had shackled to the plantry wall?) So one goal was achieved. Im still holding them for possible future work.

I guess its been a bit since updating. Lots of trimming (yay), hanging, clipping, weighing and burping. I haven't been able to take a good pic all week, but Ill get bud shots up eventually. Ehh, cloning and tossing out what I cant hold onto right now. Nothings lost, just making space.

SLH x MM has been really slow to flower - don't even have budset to show you yet.

I'm STRESSING a camera right now - REALLY badly man - If I don't get a camera - im not going to harvest tonight.

You need to see things sluts up close n personal and I need some quality pictures for that - something my camera phone won't live up to.

But they are 60 day plants.

Wildgrow - I chopped the girls - but the Camera I got from best buy was broken... The imagine stabilization didn't work on any mode and everything came out fuzzy - I'm shaky naturally unfortunately and well it wasn't a nice thing to have to deal with...

Best buy was closed early being sunday so I returned the camera today and ordered the one I want online - tripod and all and I'll have epic dry bud shots as well as macros for you but don't expect a solid smoke report till around turkey day :/

Depending on training - the amount of tops make - you can scrog these plants ez - and yes they are sorta main cola dominant - but you could make a lot of colas - The problem for me with this grow was a lack of up potting and having a restricting sized root mass. Rootbound from the start so know their full potential has not even been touched.

Rock hard - GREASY - extremely pleasant to smell regardless of which plant and a nice light green limey color.

Due to the small container size I can't judge these plants man - yield wise and in their grow style... I only topped em once and that was it for training besides some supercropping.

I do want to find a keeper and after all the RedEyed and Cannafornia are done - I'm popping the rest of these - keeping the males and going to learn about how to judge and understand the males and make F2s after selection is down to one. Collect pollen - then wait for the girls to finish flower and of course I'll take clones. Select the winning clone and then make the beans - probably 2015 LOL!

Indoor gardening expo was a success mate - easily a grand or two worth of gear. Looks like Advanced Nutrients is going to lose my business real soon.

Traded bud with this guy from norcal - he had blackberry kush - outdoors - one bud had a few seeds - but this shit is a nice strong foreign smoke for me and it has me talking about F2s in 2015 lol

Thanksgiving it is then.

I was wondering when you'd get the urge to chuck. I knew it wouldn't be long. Someday we'll have f2s to compare. And even though they'll be across the spectrum between SLH and MM, each of us should get the odd pheno or 2 that the other doesn't. Id like to do an open pollination for the f2s - maybe 2 males that express at opposite ends with 3-4 females with varied expressions - try to keep the bottleneck wide.

Ive found 1 seed in each NWT #1 and SLH. Thinking of starting a grab bag of random seeds for when I want a surprise.

I think I got about $50 worth of stuff at my expo.

wow, you've got your hands full! thats cool that you have quite the variety going. its fun to think about popping/breding your own stuff, i enjoy that as well. makes me want to start popping the stuff i've made! hope i can find time to do it this fall.

It can be a lot of work, but if you want to keep your arms and legs and have quality herb its the only way. Of course it helps if you dig gardening. Who doesn't like to watch colas swell?

SLH x MMs

#1 - Stretchy like SLH, thick stemmed like MM, branching somewhere in between.

#2 - Less stretch, branching a bit more like MM.

#3 - Stetching like #1, branching like #2.

#4 - MM dom. Least stretch, MM branching (mostly).

sexy show m8 - trust those big girls are going to put out! they weren't fussy for me the least bit. They ate up the nutes real well - minimal burn compared to a few plants that were going "ooo ahhh ooo ahh" dancing around confused by all the food available.

I'll have dry bud shots up tomorrow for you buddy - and some smoke details - really danky cross - now if only I vegged longer - bigger - and up potted!

The SLH dominates imo smell and taste wise for the most part - two phenos are clearly not as sweet fruity as one and have a nice funky twist on em - good hybrid tho - no crash
