I left the bottoms of the Scott's og to finish after cutting most of them last week. it looks like I'll get at least another qp from them

it will be a much better grow having all the support of the screens. I may have to build a little 4x4 table to flower all my upcoming strains I recently popped. it's a real mix of stretchy and stout varieties. I have also been toying with the idea of running them all in the big ppk room... maybe the talk stretchy ones in one circle, stout ones in one, and then a circle of wifi or something. it's going to be a challenging grow with all the different strains. from now on I'll pop a pack or two at a time.. what was I thinking?!

hey otis ive been following your grows...absolutey spectacular! just wondering if you are in a med. state...and if not...do u worry about power consumption? :) hats off to ya tho! stellar looking plants!

not a med state and yes from time to time power consumption does cross my mind, but not too often. hopefully I don't stand out too much. both my houses are big and old and I'm pretty frugal about power otherwise. I've heard some say a good rule of thumb is to keep it under 1k wts per number of rooms on the house and to pay your bills on time. I think it's probably more important that I have huge carbon filters and a couple extra fan/ filter combos for back up that get broken out when trimming and drying. I also am very cautious and picky about who I sell to and never have people over to either place

I've got madness coming out of my ears...I haven't been keeping pics posted much of my other house bc there is so much work to do over there with so many plants that by the time I finish I'm just ready to go home and snapping pics just isn't happening as much as I would like. I just a few days ago harvested the madness side off the coco bedI wet trimmed half of it and hung the rest to dry trim later. the dsd on the other side was harvested about a week ago and I got 23oz from it. I had mites on this one and yield suffered. the buds never really beefed up on madness or deep strawberry diesel. I'll try to get some bud shots of both up soon. the big ppk room if full of madness as well, and it comes down at the end of the month. I will get some pics of those up as well. they are monsters. I definitely overvegged them. thanks for dropping by bd

* tent update*
we are at day 46 of flower. I have 2 phenos, one is more white leaning the other is straight og. both fire. the white phenol is super frosty doesn't stretch too much and and has stronger branches. the og phenol, of course, has floppier branches and stretches a bunch. it is also very frosty, the white leaner is just extraordinarily frosty. I kept both so far because I have a few different style grows that I could use each one in. the chem- jack its a very strong branched plant with big buds whose scents, while not the chem funk I was hoping for, are becoming stronger and more and more interesting.....a kind of sweet-astringent smell with some citris notes maybe. this is a white bud next to a chem Jack.

I need to get something on the walls I can tie the plants back to, you can see a couple tops got too close to the lights and got scorched. I also lowered the feed ec down to 1.0 and could not get the leaves on the upper most tips to un-curl. ph and run off ph are good and everything is growing and swelling so....

What`s your ppm runoff.......They`ve got too much N stored from the looks of things due to clawing and no yellowing from older and lower fans , and 1/2 strength flushes till ppm runoff gets lower`s the only way to let the plants start cannibalizing themselves in late flower....

Droppin EC down to 1.0 won`t change what`s stored in the rootzones without the flushes IME Bro.....

Good luck.....DHF.....:ying:.....

Dank lookin as usual bro!
But yea, lots of N in there... you know the drill.

What RD strains have you run? Whats your fave? Ive got some 501 st and it seems like a real winner, just wondering your opinions on them.........

O

otis33

I checked the run off and it was 1.6 ec, which I didn't think was really that high. I will flush em... it's about time to start dwindling any way. thanks dhf

otis33

as for the rd strains, I can't give any opinions other than Scott's is fire. I have cat piss, commerce city kush and ghost train haze#8 that will be flowered along with 9 or ten other strains I popped recently as soon as space is cleared.

right on man. I'll be around to watch.....:thank you:

IME with coco , the rootzone "core" ph AND ec/ppms are always different from runoff readings , but some strains just can`t take the elevated juice that others can.....

Run 1/2 strength flushes to prevent starving em of P and K , start dwindling down ppm`s , and the lowers should start yellowing off with the upper clawing going away hopefully sooner than later......

You can also gradually get rid of all fanleaves with stems to rid the plant of stored nitrogen since that`s where excess N is stored during late flower .......anyways Bro..........

Shit looks good ....Good luck and....

Peace.....DHF.....:ying:.....

Runoff EC of 1.6, but what was the input? EC 1.0? Or plain tap?

Either way with 2-3 weeks left you should be gtg... I would definitely give them a long flush though.

O

otis33

I gave them all but 2 a good flush until the run off came down to the input(.04). I never hooked the blumats up in the tent and I was watering with less run off than I should have been and I didn't add drip clean bc I was feeding them sea green once a week in the beginning and read that you doing use the 2 together. should I wait until leaves straighten out before resuming feed? I was going to feed another week, then flush for 2
