YOU HAVE TO SCOPE!
Only way you are going to know what you are dealing with.
You're just trying "pot luck".
It doesn't matter how good or bad your eyesight is. That's why they make microscopes, and you can get one with camera attached for viewing on an LED screen or computer.
Your method of flying blind is not going to work.

Retro,
I agree that growers should know what they're trying to kill. Magnification is in order. But actually, the Soap, heat, OGBioWar regime he's got going would probably knock out most pests. And at least he's not misusing serious chemicals. I'm interested in the outcome, for future reference. Good luck. -granger

There is a video on youtube with directions on how to turn a smartphone into a microscope with about $10 in parts...haven't tested but looks good.

Did you 40x loupe the leaves to check to see exactly what kinda critter you have.

I wiped out my thrips for example by using 10ml bleach/1L water, mist heavily, and dropped my nighttime temps down to 58-60'F. Within a week no more thrips...been a yr so I am pretty sure they are gone..

Now the Spidermites that found their way in...they are a proving to be a challenge.

broad mites are not even comparable to thrips. even spider mites are more welcome than broadmites.

thrips= minor misting and they are gone
spider mites = avid/floromite for veg..bloom is a whole different story...more tricky to get rid of.

As for broadmites...have yet to tackle these buggers, and I hope I never have to.

My point being he needs to know what he is dealing with....It is like someone with a nute difficiency trying to figure out what is wrong with the plants without looking at the leaves.....

OGBIOWAR Foliar, and they are gone. Easy peazy lemon squeezy. Use it 3 times 4 days apart, and then use it once per week, and you will not have to use anything else.

It is a mix of 10 different fungal spores that inoculate the leaf surface. These spores grow on the the critters, and then kill them. It will kill most anything except bees. It took out my broad mites, and also the grasshoppers on my property.

It makes growing retard proof. :)

Alright Retro, I hear ya. So I bought a 50x-100x scope and started looking. And looking. And at 50x I was not seeing much of anything. I was looking at the underside of leaves from young plants and all I was seeing was hairs. I put a light right next to the leaf as any other way was too dark to see much of anything. I looked at about 5 leaves in total.

I did spot 1 spider mite, took up almost half the scope when viewed at 50x and I could clearly see the 2 red spots. It wasn't moving so I guess the soap wasn't in vain.

So how much smaller would these eggs be than a spider mite? I saw a couple of suspicious white ovals which were much, much smaller than the spider mite but they were few and far between.

I will take a few more pictures of the leaves tomorrow or Sat, they almost look deficient in my 12/12 rooms while my 18/6 room is still recovering and putting out new growth. And the only thing I have done to this point that is different in my routine is to add aspirin to my tea and spraying with insecticidal soap.

I do appreciate all the help guys.

Here are the pics, I am seeing light patches along the edges and it is working its way inward as you can see from a few of the pics. My main room was destroyed by ? and that is the pic with all the leaves curling down/clawing and curling in along the edges. I have been scoping the leaves that were first hit a couple of weeks ago at 100x and I am not seeing anything other than hairs. I am at a loss as to what would be causing this.
