Cut some sour d today. It still amazes me how a 15" cutting can turn into a wild out of control, falling on itself bush.

Wow slip, as always, your dope is looking dope and im really digging the structure of her calyxes! Wish I had an old school sour d like that! (PS, that's for the rep on my REG growlog)

My ecsd cross is still ripening, some people think it's ready while the breeder said to expect 12 weeks on them...
Can I get an opinion from y'all?

I could see another 20 days for sure. You'd be surprised how much mass can build up during the final stage where nothing seems to be happening.

I like my sour at day 77 so another 3 weeks IMO. You can always put a mirco to the buds and check the trichs. Also couldn't agree with Slip anymore when your not in a rush and let your buds finish the yields between pulling at day 63 and day 70 can make a world of difference IME at least.

I'll scope out the trichs again tonight, would you keep feeding them nutes + calmag (I use maxibloom in FFHF in 1gal pots) or give her straight water till the end?

I missed a feeding or 2 as I was flushing other plants and got confused... Was feeding the cross (2 phenos) maxibloom at 1/4 strength and just straight water on alternating cycle before I missed a feeding or two.

Appreciate all the support and hope the beautiful weather this weekend is enjoyed by all!

Weather continues to amaze.
been a bit since I checked on my OD and we've had some rain the past few nights, so I was expecting some mold.
Unbelievably, she's still going strong. Must've been that worm tea.
I mean nothings yellowed out, and still throwing pistils!

Sounds like rain wednesday. I'll be ready w/ the wheelbarrel for the shed. Let her finish by the fence, some radiant heat to help her finish up. Get her away from all that dang goldenrod.

everyone pics looking really proper. we have few 'neighbors' growing outside in front and side yards this year, plainly visible from the street. One in greenhouse and the one just in the yard.

So next year the wife and I shall do a few legal plants outside in a greenhouse. have no intention of having it viewable from the street...

We are chopping casey the next few days, somehow missed a ton of lower stuff at 2 weeks, so we will be making alot of oil over the next few weeks. I prefer bubble, but the oil is what the market demands.
Have some pics of casey oil we vac purged, gotta get them from the wifes computer> ic, will update you guys shortly. Next round is Chemd and ECSD.


edit: first two pics are 75% casey, 25% hashplant, last 3 are all casey.

I can still see a bit of trapped butane, after 2 short vac purges. I dont think the setup I am borrowing is holding a vacuum as well as it should be. Also doesnt have a guage. Does have a laser temp gun though.

Hey man check out the Vac it pro. All my friends who don't have ovens use em. Drop it in a hot water bath and you can get some nice shatter just can't do huge amounts.

Holy smokes...

So I made some cheesedog erl this weekend & ended up running it before the material was totally dry... Blasted fine, no back pressure I just packed a lil looser, and it purged off perfectly... It's like a sheet of ice, got a real nice sheen to it. Only thing is it has a tiny green tinge, but that happens when running wet I've found, but I tell u what I've never gotten it to stink this hard... I mean, it's like woah this round. Smells like someone is still trimming around me! It must have something to do with the terps still being fresh?.. Nothing else changed in my process.

For convenience in certain areas I am hoping to get a small vac oven for personal use in the near future. I believe you can make just as good oil from the pump and vac bowls, just in much smaller batches, a bit more attention, and keeping your temps in check. Ron Popeil knows whats up, "set it and for get it."

NL5XHaze#1, its like a hint of lemon lime with a woody hazy taste that lingers a bit. It's sort of similar in taste to that OBlueberry cut to me, which has that strong hazy taste that is a bit different more like basement funk to it. Not sure if that makes any sense? Anyways I like smoking this stuff because I can smoke it during the day time, some of the others put me in a trance.

When you say the OBlueberry cut, is that the outkast BB? Anyone round the way still running that?
Reason I ask is I have a pk. of the Outkast BB x F13 that I may pop if I can get that HW #3 to re-veg. Love to hear anyone's opinion on it, thx!

Yup, outkastBB and I've got a big old mom of her. I don't think that plant would leave my mom room even if I tried...haven't ran her in a few harvest after running her consistently for a while. I am sure you'll find something nice in that cross, I remember you use to run a few F-13 phenos no?

You can make very good oil with the desiccators if you know what you are doing, but it's not the same quality as we are getting with the ovens. No way no how, you just can't do the temps how we do them now. That sfv oil is worlds tastier and stinkier than the 818 oil you made before otto and the major difference isn't the starting material. Cleaner and tastier product. Haha remember the stuff we were making just a couple years ago? Duuuuuude, looks what happens when you whip it!!!

You know I did!
Preserved them w/ my Apollo genetics, and have a few beans made w/ HW. If I can get that HW #3 ("Colada Colita") to re-veg, I'll be popping the F13 x HW's and that pk. of OBB x F13 looking for males.
The same BB male used to make F13, was used to make the Highend too, and I'm after that flava.

(Those of you not hep to the saga, Highend males were used on the White cut, w/ two backcrosses done to the White to make Honey White, all w/ the intent of getting flavor into the White. Not til I grew out f2's from the BX2's, did I find that recessive BB gene. )

Man that was a while ago if I remember right! I recall that f13 having a weird heady spacey buzz to it, pretty unique, never grew the stuff myself but did get to smoke some. Mixed with HW sounds nice, I dug that sweet smelling HW that was frosty as hell, good stuff.

Oh yum..... OBB is that the one more on the earthy spicy side or fruity? Cause I smoked some BB w Ras early in the summer and she was super tasty....def woody/spice/earthiness to it.... uplifting high ....soaring function not spacey.....unless overindulged....which is how we roll!! You better not let that one go or there will be hell to pay! I'm trying to get her to run a few bushes OD next season.

So I had this tiny little runt of a plant that came down 2-3wks early ..... its either bs2.2 or pre98xstrawberryD..... super sticky....wish I had a cut of her ....twisted one up last night..... she kept gumming up my space case....only a few strains have given me trouble w the grinder and it surprised me considering she was SO early.
