CJ x SSSDH

Hi,

Not an official tester, I won these beans at auction. Thought I'd chuck up the odd picture or two. Just flipped to flower after 6 weeks veg, under a 400w sodium in soil. 4 out of 5 beans germed, on show here are two of them - more pictures to follow.

This has been noted before but the vigour and structure of these beauties is something to behold. I ran regular CSG SSSDH a couple of seasons ago and they were also remarkable.

Lady 1

Lady 2 - love the serration on the leaves

All girls together also inc a couple of ACDC Haze, Chrome's mix pack + a solitary Dr P Skunk Haze x Casey Jones.

Looking nice Folklore! I just put mine into flower as well.

Cheers clearcutter, checked out yr thread -mighty fine - good you found she clones easily too.

Couple more pics:

Found this strain easy to train also tight internodal spacing indicates, hopefully, a nice yield potential.

Nice fat knuckles as well, getting ready to support all that weight - hehe.

Some more pictures to show how these girls are progressing

What nutes/additives/soil amendments/pest control i'm using for this grow and have been using for the past couple of years with good results

My best find for explosive roots - swear by the stuff!

More girls on the way......

So after a vacation I returned to these ladies to see that they are doing really well. I turned off my heat mat and my radiator while I was away because the plants would have dried out too quick. The cold night-time temps seem to have aided their resin production +they're packing on the weight; true hybrid vigour here with this strain. Just updated my 400w bulb to a Sunmaster 600w sodium so looking forward to seeing these girls pack on weight in flower.

These are roughly 4 weeks into flower

Hey OJD,

thanks for stopping by and the kind words and for the offer of a free pack of seeds at the finish line!

The trichome production on this cross is very impressive- the 6 week flower pictures below show how much this strain can produce. I grow in a garage and have cold temps and feed with cold water - this also helps the trich coverage.

As its getting colder here I upgraded my light to 600w which is working well, although my oscillating fan that blows directly under the light failed for a 12hr period. The excess heat crispened- up some of my leaves and bleached a couple of tops. Nothing serious though - I need to upgrade my fan and filter from 4 to 5 inch next time round......

Week six

More next week, Folklore

Looking great folklore! How long do you think they are going to go? Two of mine look like 9 tp 10 weekers while the other two look like 11 to 12 weeks til finish. Also any lime smells coming through?

Cheers GSP, I think these can go another 3-4 weeks, perhaps more. I've top dressed with guano and worm casts so it's just plain water from here on in.

Definitely a lime tang funk smell coming through equal across the board with these girls. Reminds me of TGA Jillybean I ran a while back, though I tend not to get too hung up on smells as the Jbean, whilst smelling great, was a bit of a disappointing smoke. Of course I expect CJ x SSSDH to be anything other than disappointing. Without wanting to sound arse-licky, I've had consistently good results with the CSG strains I have run to date -SSSDH regs and GDP S1s - all been stellar.....and tasty.
