Hi all,
5 days ago I launched a large batch of seeds

4 saduh (mandala)
4 haze
4 sweet tooth
4 crystal x white widow (home-made cross)
4 unknown genetic
4 unknown genetic

_____________

I made a large quantity mainly because some of them were old stock, many years (some of them are here since 5 years) down the fridge in very good conservation conditions, but I guessed many failed at sprouting...

I was wrong... even the oldest ones sprout well, very well... :)

Now i do have to select about 14 or 15 of them.

How would you select them ?

Genetic, vigour, grow speed, ??

Today they are 5 days "old" and most of them are looking very healthy, and it really break my heart to have to kick some of them out the box..

thanks for any kind of help

see you later

Well the first question is do you want any males to make seeds? If not, then try to hang onto them all until they show sex the toss males. If so, then is there a strain that you want a male from and the others can go? It's not that difficult to keep plants up to this stage.

Sorry peoples I assume my English was to bad :)

in fact that was a room problem, no space for all seedlings, so I must select the happy few and kick others...

As I was in a hurry I do select first the known genetic and 2 in the x batch, lookin at vigour for one and the second because she grow roots very fast compare to others..

sorry again about not having describe well my situation

only way to be sure u are keeping the best plant is to flower them out after cloning them.

is there a reason u cant keep them.? if its space.. be creative.. make a shelve.. or make an area with some floros.. shit. my seedlings get started under a 2 or 4foot floros .. and they keep them nice and tight internode wise.
