Beer? Sorry Mate. I don't drink beer cos it tastes awful, makes me noisy drunk and then I piss a lot.

once or twice a year will drink an expensive bottle of vodka with my Missus tho ... then we get nekid and fool around some ...

I have never met an aussie that drinks fosters. We have some beautiful beer here,
it's a real pity visitors are only familiar with fosters.

There are so many good beers in Australia it's ridiculous, check out Lord Nelson pale Ale, any of Stone & woods beers the pacific ale is solid, good old Hahn super dry in the tap king dispenser goes down easy too!

bugman: Domestic mid-strength beer isn't too bad, try Carlton Mid or (god forbid) XXXX Gold. For a "premium" domestic lager Carlton Crown is good...then there's a crapload of boutique Aussie brewers available in any grogshop this side of the Black Stump.

Heya bug, if anything I will drink Coopers Pale Ale and anything by Little Creatures which comes out of Fremantle in Western Australia, they were a little boutique brewery but got bought out by Carlton I think, but thankfully their beer recipe has not changed.
