aw shit i got so excited for a sec.... but those arent the ND numbers.

Nightmares should come down next weekend (I think?) -- I think that'll make'r 85 or 88 or something interminable.

My mid-harvest prediction is that I'll clear out 12-14 oz. Already just a smidgen over 6 between the #3 and the Deathstar..

anyway my shitty terrible underlit mom in the corner of the single 600 tent gave me 94 BITCHES! HA! knew youd be happy for me.

Nice work - how big was the container? My personal best was 101 g (or 110? I can't remember so let's call it 101) out of a not-full 3 gal container. :D Probably in about 2.25 gal of dirt.

ill make you a bet. for every one smoke report you put up ill do two, cause i get my macro back today. so.... consider yourself challenged, good sir!

Done. The #3 and Deathstar are still relatively new to my brain, so now's a good time to try to articulate the effects.

peace and love to the family bro, hit me up soon, im slowing down finally and ill fill you in on my vagina fueled nonsense over the past few weeks!

:woohoo: You'n that schlong'a yours, always getting you in trouble.

This is from a few weeks ago - Nightmares for about the left 4/5 of the screen, DGSC #3 on the far right (with the darker colors). I may have even posted it already - just stumbled across it (again, maybe?) and liked it. It shows the structure of the Nightmare, which is just tits. Super easy to trim.

Mmm... ti-i-its...

Those NDs right there are real nice silver. That's what comes to mind when I think diesel.

How was it, your return to hortizontal? How big of a difference have you seen without the heat stress?

Hi wg! :thank you:

I really like this plant. Have I mentioned that? :D

I am totally diggin' the return to the square-side. No heat stress is just aaawesome. And I used to think I was getting all kinds of surface area tying my plants back to the wall and all that jazz. And I probably was. But proximity to the bulb was always always always a concern, so I ended up having "flat" plants against the wall.

But back to overhead, I cram that space full of branches, and whamola - it's like every single square inch of surface area is useable (and they're probably more of it vs. the hot bare bulb vert, as there's actually some depth to the plants now), ..

I think my best yield in that space a la vert was around 10 oz, maybe 12. In this first return run to overhead, I'm sure I'll get at least 12, probably 14. :D

Sweet brother.

Think Im looking at the same (maybe a lil more) from my 1st 4 this round. Enough about me...

Great job! Glad youre getting such good returns all throughout your home. Whats next?

Up next I've got three more Nightmares [over]vegging. They're in 7 gal containers now, going bananas. They've been topped four times or so - trying to keep 'em in check. They've been vegging since before this batch was flipped, so that's at least 80 days.

I've also got an eensy GSC (forum) that I may throw in too. It's tiny, but we'll see. Since the Nightmares need to cook for damn near 3 months, I may veg the GSC a little longer and toss 'em in about 25-30 days behind the Nightmares..

I'm stoked to see what I can squeeze out of this next round - a closet full of Nightmare will be a good test to see what this room can do..

By: Megaburbank x MONA

Genealogy: UK Cheese x GSC

Cultivation information: Organic dirt

YIELD
88g in 5 gal container, vegged approx 6 weeks. In my experience/garden, she wasn't terrible, but also not stellar - probably B- in relation to the general tempo/pace of the garden.

ODOR - SMELL
Very interesting blend of both ends of the spectrum - earthy & musky and somehow sweet and sort of fruity.

picture.php

TASTE
Kind of a dry grapey flavor - not as musky as the stink might make ya think. But, it's not exactly a one-dimensional sweetness to the taste - there's enough of the heavier side of things that keep it tasting nice and rich. Good mix of sweet'n musky.

EFFECT
In a word? Subtle. Definitely not stupefying, but pleasant. I find myself able to go about routine tasks (surf the web, putz about the house, interact with people, etc) with ease - but every now and again, I find myself kind of "stuck." ..Those "Wait, what the? Oh yeah, .. I just smoked" moments. Nice blend of body and mind effect, but not an overwhelming amount of either.

picture.php

GENERAL CONCLUSIONS (Overall)
Not a keeper. I'm glad to have grown her - she was beautiful from early in flower, and the smoke is tasty and the flowers are uniquely stinky. She definitely made some dense flowers, with a nice dark rich purply sort of color to 'em. But the strength just isn't there for me. She's pleasant for the morning/afternoon smoke, and good to have around for lighter-weight company, and she'll be nice to smoke for the amount I've got. ..But not worth the space in the garden for another turn.

RATING 1 to 10
6.5

Good report silver. Funny how two great (supposed to blow a new hole in your arse) strains don't always equal Reese's.

Thanks wg! :tiphat: I agree. Though with The Next ZOMG BRAH variety, I always start off a little skeptical..

This one looked sexy as hell and tastes and smells great - very unique. But in the end, the kick in the pants just isn't there. :dunno:

Funny I've never even hit that yet....but I have seeds!

Based on those two facts, I feel like I'm compelled to ask why you're not in a situation in which you're actively working toward producing some of said herb which has not yet been hit.. ..? ;)

Deathstar

Genealogy: Sour Diesel x Sensi Star

Cultivation information: Organic dirt

YIELD
85g in 5 gal container, vegged approx 5 weeks. Normally I'd consider that a sub-par yield in the garden, but I really did like the structure with which she grew. Not exactly big long donks, but respectable golf balls all the way up to the tops, which were good fist-full sized nugs. I think that with some tweaking, the yield can be improved.

ODOR - SMELL
A little like the #3, she has a nice blend of the musky and sweet ends of things. This one, though, I find more intriguing. (The #3's stink is more "interesting" than intriguing. Not bad at all, but interesting. This one is like a candle that smells like you want to eat it.) But the stink here is more "authentic" than the #3.

picture.php

TASTE
Reminds me a LOT of the Sensi Star I used to get around 2000 - heavy muskiness, but punctuated with a hint of sweet, and then strong strong piney-ness. Like a thick coating of fresh green pine sap on your lip. Very enjoyable taste - the kind of taste where you say, "I'd still smoke this even if it didn't tickle my brain cells in just the right way."

EFFECT
Str. Ong. STRONG. I was sharing a joint with some folks last week, and with every puff I took, I could literally feel myself getting higher and higher. It's a pretty narcotic-type effect, good for sitting and tuning out -- but not quite a day-wrecker either. Very nice PM smoke, but mild enough to be an after-dinner treat as well. Smoked in the morning, my day wasn't ruined, but my normal morning routine & tasks were a little more challenging and less efficient.

picture.php

GENERAL CONCLUSIONS (Overall)
Keeper! Just for the potency alone, she's one I'd like to grow at least a few more times. I'll be more aggressive with the training and pruning next time around, as I don't think I've quite tapped into her potential just yet. And in the meantime, while I tweak her in the garden & get it Right, she's great to smoke - s'damned tasty AND heavy!

This is the Nightmare Diesel that was in the back corner. In this picture, she's been about 1/3 - 1/2 harvested already.

Another illustration of why the heck I love the way this broad grows.

Glad I'm done trimming for a few months. :)
