mostly just the rain once monsoon season kicked in but i do water them to keep them healthy when the rain stops...this time of year not often at all,they need to get ready for winter and sort of shut down...the stored water inside turns into a sort of anti freeze gel...


that one was a 100 bux,but i probably got a deal,i have bought thousands of dollars of plants and cactus from these people..its a rescue cactus so fully legal and papered.

nope,coconut fiber front door mat and leather gloves,i did wiggle it in place by hand,theres a trick to handling cactus of course which is dont ever touch them!

I guess you guys have never seen unc, he is more prickley than that barrel cactus so I am sure it was a good fight when planted it.

im sort of an seasoned veteran of cactus wrangling at this point...plus i cooked it dinner and got it some nice rooting hormones so....bow chick bow wow!

the other good thing that happened today is i finally tracked down a mystery noise coming from the bike...something was "singing" on the rear wheel,been bugging the crap out of me since it wouldnt ever make the noise when i had the bike on the work stand...but i tracked it down...was the reflector in the spokes...i would get rid of it but the uniform vehicle code requires them when im towing the trailer so they stay until i can find something better...or the frickin noise comes back...

Morning dans bro.

Up and feeling kinda lazy today. Was going to get some mite killer to treat my glue cuts and then remembered that I got a free sample of something at the max yield show this past summer. I'll give it a try and see how I like it.

Those samples really come in handy, still have a bunch of stuff to go through.

just already out watering the yard and such,the wind is supposed to come up today so i was gonna grab some miles before it gets too bad,just deciding where to go....theres a campsite spot i wanted to check out but i was also thinking of going out to one of the local parks i havent ridden to yet,its like 16 miles each way,pretty much all downhill on the way home...only like 7-800 feet of climbing so not too bad...
