Got some pics for anyone who can see.... very happy to be able to show off dank.franks work...

this is my best run with the BKGK Bx1 so far... I finally got her to really shine and do her thing.. starting week 8...

https://www.icmag.com/ic/picture.php?albumid=45977&pictureid=1149712

and then I was wondering if anyone could help me confirm my suspicion that this is a sour pheno from my ECSD x SSSDH testers...

and any tips on the clawing leaves is appreciated too... I have tried keeping them moist and letting them have a wet/dry cycle...

i think it is more heat related...

SourSmoker - Clawing leaves downward like talons = high nitrogen levels while in flower - leaves curling inward on themselves, like a hotdog bun is a heat issue. However, that plant looks to have a bit more haze influence to her still - but I'd not worry about the clawing - she'll need that extra N eventually...seems she still has a way to go yet - she'll balance herself out, I'd presume..

I gotta know RAZOR- whats the genetic make up of that Sour Rasberry? It looks amazing! well done :tiphat:

sorry if its in here somewhere.

DF- I have strains that "taco"/hot dog bun no matter what. This Blue Dream bagseed for example. On this run the temps were consistent 79/59. Ive grown it a number of other times and it always does it. And its much more serve in real life.

Have you tried running her in what would be considered "low" temperatures to see if she is just excessively heat sensitive???

I guess not. Thats as chilly as i can get it. I thought those were low temps. But i see your point, 79 is pretty much 80, which isnt exactly cool. It wasnt a big deal i guess. I just felt most of the leaves weren't getting much light, from halfway through flowering, they taco almost closed. Your prolly right though, about that particular strain being heat sensi. None of the other strains growing next to that Blue Dream, that are feed the same exact things, do that.

IMO, you need more Mg.
Ever hear the term "praying for mag?"
leaves curl down = over N
leaves curl up, Mg (or broads) lol

and 80 deg aint a bad temp at all.
i let my rooms hover aound 85-88 myself

Pimpin, you tend to run a lot more sativa heavy strains than most.

When I build my rooms, I like to be able to adjust temperatures. I try to shoot for lights on temps to be controllable down to 70F if not lower... Higher temps are easier to achieve

We must take into consideration that many of the drug cannabis strains are from mountainous regions (lower temps and higher UV exposure in most cases)

Although most cannabis has been "bred" for indoor environments, some of the sport phenotypes will show ancestral traits. Many do not realize "dialing in" a strain is done by producing the environment that strain would have acclimated to. This includes: soil composition (nutes AND density etc), RH levels AND temperature
