i dont think this cut has been passed around as much... but then again ,, like with trainwreck or Sour D ,, shit's so good everyone wants some gravy on their table , but when we're talking clone-only , the only way to make sure, is that DNA testing .. but that seems a myth this days ,, everyone talks about it .. but whos doing the testing and where are the results?!
and here's my problem with DNA testing ... if there's no previous data on the " 45 year old original clone " dna's makeup ,, then how can you know wich one it is ,, if you have a pile of different results from samples of the same seedline? some of wich can be as old as the real cut
on top of that ... there are so many breeders and growers that just wanna be able to have "the new brand name" ,, people passing arround cuttings that years later turned out to be ,, a seed of a seed of the clone or something else completly .... and that make things so messy.. just how i like it lol .... god bless this mess!! stay safe

It might have been passed down but probably not the original clone. Feel free to throw up pics and see how it compares. I've seen some pics of hydro-chicken looking TK but can't match the real calyx developement of the "real deal"

I agree Chazz....it's like a phone took a picture off the back viewing window of a digital camera...kind of a wtf moment for me too when I first clicked the thread.
As far as the S1 / "knock off" TK that got passed around - bah, it's easy to tell when you have the real deal. There is nothing else that smells quite like the TK - plant is just ridiculously "loud"...

not being a hater - I'm just saying - if your going to make a whole new thread about TK - well, I had expected a bit more from you - I mean, that single, ummm...picture - could have easily been posted in any of the other TK threads that are around here...
I can show you pics from the last batch TK I smoked...even though it wasn't my grow:
Straight up musky vanilla, a bit earthy kush, more lemon / fuel as she cures out - but pure skunk butt through and through that just never dies down. Smell breaks through a sealed mason, double vac sealed in about two days - you simply can not contain it. Some of the most pungent flowers EVER...I was beyond impressed by her. A bit more indica in her high than some of the other OG plants...
Not sure I was trying to turn it into a pissing contest - I just wanted you to post better pics - sorry if that is some how offensive to you...

What most people have is supposidly an s1. Chunky og like what frank posted.
I can't even take credit for the pics - as I said, that wasn't my grow. I just had a batch of the flowers to enjoy - and enjoy them I did.
Wantaknow - sorry man - not my intent. Those that talk to me on more personal levels, know this is not the case. I just really expected better pics from someone starting a NEW thread on the cut...that's all.
Perhaps, I should say it this way - OGBudder - could you please post a few actual pictures of the plant you are trying to show us - vs a picture of a picture type of deal? I'd personally like to see your plant more up close and personal. I truly didn't mean it to come of as being snide - my apologies.
The cut I showed those pictures of is a verified, legit, cut of TK - no question about it. Those nugs are just crazy chunky because Phillthy is an amazing grower and everything the dude touches just blows up...his flowers are always surprisingly more potent than my own; it's quite frustrating. I get more nuances / more pronounced flavors in my flowers - but his potency and yields always surpass my own...speaking as honestly as I know how.

Word from everyone passing it around is what is going around is an s1. Chunky og. That's what the fla guys who it came from say anyways, who knows maybe their cat is out of the bag. Regardless, what's going around being the s1 is pretty widely accepted.
I guess it just depends on who you know. Don't know what to tell you.
