if only it werent outdoor grown cali doc,then it might be something aside from future brickweed!
I was going to say something, and after reading that, I entirely forgot!

I just remembered. I took two bikes out tonight for a spin.

Ive been looking at the Bianchi for a couple days. It has been beckoning to me, to ride it. It really is a sexy bike. I took her out tonight and zipped through all 27 speeds. She is real light and pulls like a champ.

I also took the Stretch Aluminum Felt Beach Cruiser out tonight. I let my male Pit pull me a couple miles on it. He loves that bike. I do Too. I love all my bikes

I Love My Brick weed too!:biggrin:

Dan- So you dont have fans in those 6" slots in the window? Sorry, for me not being able to comprehend anything, I just like to be sure I understand things correctly.

I was thinking i would need those little 6" vent boster fans from lowes or Home Dpot. I was thinking my room isn't nearly sealed enough to work without them. (I think thats called passive?? Thats what that means when people say passive, right?)
And thanks for the pic of your R/O set up. Ive been wandering what it looks like.

Im using a 6 stage . Mine has these

1st stage Sediment, 5mic
2nd stage sediment , 1 mic
3rd stage crabon block 5mic
4th stage carbon block 5 mic
5th stage DI resin
6th stage RO filter membrain TDS = 0ppm..

Ok so I don't know what the ones I have are called. But i did order all new filters for it. Its only a 3 stage, so i wanna add a couple more stages. Does anybody know what my best way of doing that would be? Should i just order a 4 stage, and connect it to the one I have, for a total of 7?
Or does anyone think I can just order the individual stages I need to add? And what stages do I need to add? (I found a company out of Texas called Pure Water Products that sells individual additions to R/O units. But I dont know if they are compatible with my current unit.

pappy, I have nasty ass well water that comes in at 1.0 EC and smells like shit.

A 3 stage ro filter works for me just fine. Paid like a 120 bucks for it. As a matter of fact it's still got the original ro membrane 2 years later. 0.0 EC still.

Just a thought.

Well i can say that i tried about everything to fix my calmag/other problems. Nothing worked. Nothing. And then i started using Bottled distilled water, and about 2 weeks later everything started looking much better. So I'm thinking my water authority is having some pretty serious problems. In fact, I know theyre having problems, but i think its worse than theyre saying. I think the color is indicative of a deeper problem. Unfortunately I dont have an EC meter, so i cant test it. But im thinkin of getting one.

And I know that ive been growing for about 3 yrs in this spot, harvesting once every 2 months. So around 18 harvests. And I have never had any problems close to these vvvvvvvvvvv

pappy had similar problem awhile back, was ph, fixed with new blue lab intruments, and a filter that mainly removed chlorine, had a smaller hydro filter on and it was filthy every 3 or4 days made hoses a bit slimy to touch. plus I got a uv killer hooked up to run on a timer, anyway problem went away.

Thanks for the input fellas. So I'm gonna buy a ppm meter. Is that a sure way to tell if the water is ok to use? I mean, if the ppm is under a certain number, its for sure absolutely safe to use? I dont understand that stuff well (what else is new. lol) I just found out that PPM and TDS and EC are all the same thing. Wait... are those 3 things all the same? :thinking:

And yeah G, im def gonna be using bottled water until im 100% sure my water is fixed. :tiphat:

No pappy , no boosters in the window vents . but my room is pretty sealed & I have two exhaust systems going to pull the " passive " air in from outside ..... i'm hoping !!! i may have to add a 6" fan to one of the vents if i can't get enough draw ..... i should know pretty soon .

grab another RO system like you have & don't use the RO membrane ..... save it for when your original RO filter goes . & use the new filters as a sediment filter before the RO unit .

3rd .... yer really pissin me off ya know !!!! the harvests ya get ... the room ya have .... next thing your gonna show us is your wife is a super hot bikini model or something !!!! :moon:

Thanx Sir Galadriftahadsmokinjoe :tiphat:

Lookin great Third! Do you have a journal going, as im interested in your setup. I just switched to a Papillon light, which is very similar to the gavita.

How close is that to the top of the canopy? Also, is that a 600w fixture or their DE1000.

thanks!

pappy yea those three are all the same
ppm=parts per million
tds=total dissolved solids
ec..... electrical conductivity??? idk..

but yea i look at em like celcius to farenheight type deal... if my tap is anything over 400 i cut ca feed a bit... however mine doesnt have issues it seems.,..

local govt should be held more accountable and in a more public light when concerning the entire neighborhoods drinking water, aside from our ladies lifeblood;)
