303 and friends

Hi all,

A while back I used to grow this PNG-dominant sativa from FET of Spice Bros. At some stage I lost it, and that was probably the biggest cock-up of my growing "career". I just loved that weed.

Anyway, it seems that higher forces in the universe deemed I should be given a second chance, and, magically, some seeds appeared on my doorstep a while ago.

So here is my new 303 mother, now about 35 days into flower:
(She looks remarkably like the old one)

And a detail:

I'll be a lot more careful this time, promise! :)

At about the same time I was growing the 303, I decided to try cross it with something, just to bulk it up a bit. It really is very scrawny, makes Nevil's Haze look like it's got an obesity problem.

At that time I was smoking and really enjoying NepJam (hi Charlie), so I picked this for the cross. I do believe I even made a thread about it here, lost somewhere in the mists of time. Anyway, that Nepjam x 303 cross turned out quite well (303 pollen was from another friend, you know who you are!), and I even managed to backcross it to my own 303 mother before she passed away.

So I managed to end up with 8 (303 x (NepJamx303)) seeds. I had more, but don't ask...

Two of these were planted and the reults are below. Happily my phone seems to take fair pics under HPS, something which my camera does not! As you can see, the bulking up of the NepJam is still holding out in the second generation. Those plants are about 60 days into flower. I have backcrossed them to (a different) 303 yet again, we'll see how that goes, I had some hermi isuues, but I think it will be OK.

Oh, and just to say... I love what's been happening on this thread.
Though perhaps we could start a new one. The pages seem madly out of sync, I think the web-server has found its limit.
That is to say, this thread stretches like a sativa, LOL.

Little update with the Angolese X Meao Thai, you can see how those fluffy buds are building up without any rushes:

Is there any (smoke) description of the Sinaloa Dorada available?

Not yet, hard to get a suited description from local farmers from the sierra, should produce some golden buds and finish around christmas (navideñas), yet to know better.

Charlie,

Great shots of great strains. I have to find time for that Punto Rojo, Punto Rojo x Oaxacan 79, or Oaxacan 79 x Oaxacan.

Figured I'd toss a few pics of this sativa some peeps up north have been growing, it's been acclimatized to the MI season and I've been told it packs a wallop ....my bro I got the cut from says he took his best White Russian up there and it was a daytime smoke in comparison lol
It's super vigorous in veg and bloom, I got a 14" cut that I was strongly advised not to bloom at that height indoors so I took cuts and put her in at 6" - 7" and she stretched til the middle of week 6

summer 2013 499.jpg

Sorry for the blurry pic but is anyone familiar with the structure?
