HEAD LINE: B.C. cities have no way to enforce closure of licensed marijuana grow-ops

HEAD LINE: B.C. cities have no way to enforce closure of licensed marijuana grow-ops

Here's an article that was printed Sept. 24/2013, in the Vancouver Sun news paper.

It states because of the Privacy Act, after MMAR is closed down Health Canada cannot give out names and addresses of persons that were in MMAR program.

Also

It states that the police can't get information on an address unless a search warrant has been issued(Police can't just ask for info, and get it, without good reason). It goes on to states police have had 70% of there investigations stopped because of MMAR program. It didn't state any where in the acrticle that targeted homes were informed of any action or investagation.

IMO...If you have been targeted in the past and the action has been stopped, you were not informed, you're on the list still, and there coming to get everyone they couldn't or at least the larger ones.

The article also gives stats on all lower mainland communities at the end(PPL's and DPL's).

Read the full article...Here's a link:
http://www.vancouversun.com/health/...re+licensed+marijuana+grow/8949701/story.html

The month of April is going to be a which hunt people...be careful everyone.

Peace...B

PS. Who even know there was a Mayor's union...Can you spell conspiracy.

Here's an article on the realities of it though http://www.news1130.com/2013/10/08/surrey-tells-medical-pot-growers-to-clean-up-and-pay-up/

N that's today's news

"The City wants owners to prove the homes have been fixed up within 60 days of stopping pot operations. It’s also planning to charge a $5,200 fee to each owner."

lol shit's crazy, talk about reefer madness, what the fuck are these ppl smoking on?lol

Shit's nothing more than a free for all cash grab any n every way ppl can think of n has fuck all to do with sick ppl anymore untill a court gets involved anyhow.

$5.2K fee to medical patients growing their own under former law, as a penalty for following the old law. Now that is some good ol' nazi tactics!!!

That's an absolute raping. Someone should tell that jackass that home buyers are free to get a home inspection at there own cost and always have been. If they don't, and their not happy it's there own fault. and really what are they planning to do if people don't pay? turn off there power? evict them from there own homes?

People that had foresight will become large scale brokers.

The rest will continue growing.

I see the latter being the front line warriors and the former making a lot more money.

Mid october and still only cannimed on HC website...

Is the inspection process for new grows that difficult to pass, or is the gov't dragging it's feet?

What gives.

You would think with all the talk out there, that list would be growing..No?

Its 95% bunch of yahoos applying for it who have no corporate or political connections and think that because they grew before they can do it commercially.

Also this talk of $1-2 per gram, wtf are you talking about? There's no proof or studies that show that this is a viable market yet some are already throwing out bottom line pricing. Just the fact that you are going to be using full time HID lighting to grow the plants shows that you're electricity overhead will be humongous. Add lease/rent, workers, specialists, security, legal and accounting and you're into some BIG numbers just to break even.

At bare minimum for say 100 lights most are looking at $4300 per month just for the hid lights electricity. Add in lease for say $10K per month and you need close to 30K per 8 weeks just for bare bones stuff. Add in payroll and taxes and corporate tax at the end of the year and you'd better hope thousands sing up for the prescriptions and there are only a few commercial growers allowed.

if someone wanted to for less then a million dollars you could setup a not for profit using hydroelectric power and sell for $1-2 a gram or less all day long

its not rocket science but i dont think the goverment would let that fly they would some how crack down on a co-op or not for profit like that

IMHO...

Health Canada will have "Cannimed" as there only licensed distributor for as long as it is possible to keep it that way. Until they(HC) can no longer justify the hold back of other LCP(Licensed Commercial Producers), this is to give "Cannimed" an advantage over the LCP to be named at later dates. Most people are lazy by nature, even if it only takes a simple trip to the Doc to get papers signed, and submit them to change to another LCP or supplier. Human nature dictates, we don't go out of our way to change anything, unless we are getting a much better deal or product, and since LCP have "THC" maximum percentages to abide by, one supplier will be as good as another.

Health Canada, keeping "Cannimed" as the only available distributor for a long period, will allow "Cannimed" to get a larger part of the available market share. This is IMO, a pay back for there long association and years of service to Health Canada. This is and would be a back room deal(which happens daily in politics), arranged off the record between high up's in both, Prairie Plant and HC. The only way the general public ever finds out about these kinds deals is if someone gets PISSED OFF and blows the whistle(which is how we know "Back Room" deals exsist). Whistles have been blown in the past, continue in the present, and surely will happen in the future. Back room deals are how politics have and always will operate.

Also...

If for any reason the MMPR is defeated, then "Cannimed" becomes the only LCP simply by default. Leaving the federal government out of the supply business of Medical Marijuana(which is where HC want to be). Then we in Canada would have MMAR and the MMPR working together as the suppliers to the Canadian people.

A win, win for both HC and Prairie Plant.

Peace...B
