avoid this product, it is not made/tested to spray directly on plants. and if you do the leaves turn brown on seedlings. and they stop growing and look awful.

qt. bottles sell for $12. at ACE.

i made a mistake to buy it as the clerk told me it was ok for edible plants. once home i tried it. and within a day the browning effect was evident on the baby plants. the older mothers survived.
and water was sprayed on them to try and wash off the O.G.

i wrote a 'tor' at their calif. url. and he told me it has to be
diluted 8:1 for plant use. but declined to say if it was ok for
seedlings or if it had been tested ever on pot plants.

it was returned to ACE for refund.

since then i checked with others and learned that a spray
called Liquid Ladybug works well for spider mites. so a pint
bottle of it was bought on ebay for $21.35

i never heard of that but thanks as i am trying new things besides Dr. Doom. Not sure of the % of pyrinthians, OH SHIT! I used this new "Fumigator" by Raid. it says "Not for use where plants are grown for food! I thought it said pyrinthians, but it actually says it has Permethrin! FUCK! I wonder how long it takes to degrade. my plants in bloom are probably still a month out. fuck i hate growing weed! mites are dead tho.

wow. a quick wikipedia says that permethrin is a perethroid, and: "A pyrethroid is an organic compound similar to the natural pyrethrins produced by the flowers of pyrethrums"

THANK Buddah! anyway if i smoke it and die, i'll come back and post about my demise. however, i think it's safe. its at Ho Depo' and cost $13 for 3 cans the size of one small $14 can of Dr. Doom.

it's a pretty good read @ wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permethrin

FYI-"Organic" has different meanings depending on context. The meaning that is common in the context of growing vegetables and weed is that it is naturally occurring or that the produce was grown without the use of salt based fertilizers, and chemical pesticides.

In the context of the Wiki article and in the context of Chemistry it means simply that it contains at least one carbon atom.

Permethrin is a Pyrethroid, but it is not organic in the first context. It does have at least one carbon atom per molecule.

For your purposes, it is less toxic than an Organophosphate like Dursban, Diazinon, or Malathion. It is also less toxic to mammals than Neonicotinoids like Imidochloprid. And Permethrin is not systemic like Imid.

If it were me, I would dunk the plants in Insecticide soap a couple of times to rinse off the Permethrin. This will also serve as follow up Spider Mite treatments. Read and follow label instructions. Good luck. -granger
