MNS Ortega is NL1 x NL5 made from old seed stock of Nevilles. This is probably the one I would go for if I was going to get one as they are going to be the most fresh and up to date.
I ran a Nirvana NL fem and was very impressed. Sativa like plant that had some white pistils on the top buds at 12 weeks. Should have just took it at 10 I guess but that thing had the frostiest nugs out of the various strains I ran that time. Very potent.
I got a pack of Classic Seeds NL but got 4 males this run so will run the 6 another time.
Ontario seed bank has a decent northern lights. Lots of phenos. Quite frosty and strong as well. Id go with nirvana before them tho. I personally dont order online.
YES...all of those mentioned are reasonable alternatives.... BUT
the BOG beans are the freshest and I just got 100% germination off a pack....
U see BOG runs several sets of bean production each year to ensure fresh selections....
where as the majority of these other seed brands have been on the shelf for sum time....
hav'nt heard of a fresh bean drop from any of those outfits in a long long time...
IE the seeds @ distributors are old by this time....
I agree with you for the most part yort, but I do know the Aurora indica from Nirvana sells like hotcakes, and they would have to make fresh stock just to keep up with demand. Not trying to push one breeder or the other on ppl, just saying... A. Indica is NLxAffie for those that don't know.
PeakseedsBC has a good version of it. From old seed stock, preserved line AFAIK. I grew it out and it was what I remembered, didn't find a real winner but all the plants were pretty good and I suspect a real winner could be found with some hunting.
