Yeah, I landed two bows about that size and a handful of medium browns and brookies. All took the hot spot pheasant tail I posted on previous page.
Definitely had to kick back with a bowl after that one to get my heart rate regulated.

I got on some salmon last week. It was a great day of fishing all in all I missed 1 steelhead, but landed 1 salmon, my bro got 1 steelhead in the boat, and my other buddy got one chinook in the boat as well. 3 fish over 10lb in the boat

thats awesome! i recently lost my grandfather, and wish i hadnt made drugs such a large part of my early twenties, & let work consume the last decade. but...
i gave my dad a fly rod last year. but we are yet to go fishing. we do live on opposite ends of the US.

House only a half mile from boat ramp and the minnows are all around the ramp. I'm going to go down tonight and see if I can't get a big old walleye from shore. We were down for a couple hours earlier and no fish. The water was beautiful and we found the dogs frisbee that we lost playing with down there yesterday. Hope it stays nice as long as possible. Just getting what feels like summer now.

Weeks old refrozen sardine deadbaits and rolling hashies keeps my immune system in check !
Been havin bleak local winter fishing, not much biting, picking up more old discarded fishing line and litter than fish...A few pan/reef fish and a few mullet that went on for livebait, but nothing big ate em..Oh yeah and some throwing plugs at yellowfin and catching big wahoo on the troll..fun times in places I wish that I was now haha.

I can walk out my back door and be fishing in 5 minutes. Went out last night to catch the last half hour of the day to try for a bluefish or two. There was a weird southeast wind last night that put the fish down. Didnt catch anything but a buzz.

i do a ton of fishing,,,we have done a yearly trip to lake onaping in northern ontario every year,the fishing is epic.....here is a vid of my first cast....fishing was actually slow that week,but the last evening i caught 112 walleyes myself!all in less than 4 hours!was epic!
