Hi guys, this is my first post in this international forum...be patient with me :huggg:.
I'm trying my first grow (!) within a pc box and i bought one 50w red led (630nm) and one 10w blu led (460nm).

I'm not sure could be good to harvest something...i must add a cold or warm white led ?

:thank you:

P.s: i just want add, as all could see from picture, that i put the two leds on one cpu heat sink, and with a fan that extract air from case, the leds are very cold, like 35-40° celsius i believe ! Very good...

An ordinary CPU heatsink can dissipate ~100W of heat so this is a very good choice.

However, you can reduce the temperature on the PC case further more by placing the heatsink outside the case. For that you just have to cut a square/round hole on the 'roof' of the case and bond the heatsink to the case with some screws or even glue.

This way , more height space will be available for the plants. The drivers and all other electronics can be placed outside the box also (because they generate and dissipate heat). This will reduce also the need for forced ventilation and reduce the noise made by the extraction fans.

The warm air it's drived out from the fan and, however, i need a stealth grow box.
On the spectrum light ? Do you think i must add other spectrum ?

The box can be stealth even with the heatsink outside the box, if you mask it in some form of PC accessories.

60W are more than enough for your space but I would add one 10W or 2x5W White LED (Cold or Warm - does not matter) for a more complete and uniform spectrum.

Cold or white it's equal ? Perfect, i should just have a 10w warm white somewhere...thx !

It's not quite equal, but in this situation can be considered so, because you spectrum already has huge spikes on 630nm and 460nm. Adding a little white will create a smooth spectrum curve.

The cold white will add more lumens than a warm white and bring advantage on vegetative stage. In the other hand, warm white enhance the red spectrum, which is good for flowering.

Keep in mind that blue and cold white helps with stretching, but it also can have adverse effects on flowering (to much blue on flowering can cause slow growth).

If it possible, a dual circuit (one cold white , one warm white and a mini switch) will be an extra feature (keep the cold white until the stretch is done and switch to warm white after that).

To many suggestions ?

Never many suggestions !
I have a lemon skunk to taste, born out, in my terrace. So i think to make about 10-15 days of vegetative and go to flowering. I think it's a good idea put immediately a warm white.

You talked about stealth, but I couldn't notice the holes on the back of the PC case. I guess it's like at the disco back there

I would tie down the plant , almost horizontal , to promote branching and to keep it short and switch to flower when she reach 12-15cm height. Lemon Skunk sometimes tend to show sativa phenos, with long stretching , so be careful.
