A Brazilian drug trafficker was killed after being crushed by a half-ton of marijuana.

The man was transporting his stock when he lost control of his car and smashed into a tree. The half-ton of marijuana stored in the back seat slammed forward, crushing the smuggler and pinning him against the wheel.

The driver was en route from the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul, heading to Sao Paulo with his product when he was asked to stop by Federal Highway police at a road block in Bataguassu, 210 miles from Campo Grande.

Refusing to pull over, the man lead police on a 3-mile chase, which ended with the drug trafficker wrapping his car around a tree. The man died instantly, according to police.

His vehicle and marijuana were transported to the Bataguassu police station. Police have yet to identify the driver, as he had no identification with him.

Brazil has lenient laws on its citizens when it comes to personal consumption of drugs, the consequence normally being a warning or community service. But if a drug trafficker is caught smuggling and selling larger quantities of drugs, a conviction can land them between five and 15-years in prison.

He got bricked!
In Brazil, if you've got money, you can usually buy your way out of these types of situations.

Well, you can get into the "good" cemetery.....
At least he won't be doing any hard time.

The Federales will sell that, then bust the new buyers. Then those guys will pay their way out of it, and the cycle begins again.

Who packages MJ like that?
Would that ride even hold up a half ton?
What a picture.
Now all we need is a pic of a guerilla grower with 10' trees sticking out his window while driving down the road.

Almost fake looking. First weed normally is not packed that way. Second the guy standing doesnt look like someone is dead in front of him. Third the packages r spread around unlike it fell out of the car when the doors opened. There should b more pieces of the car on the floor. Wheres the bumper. Whys the car a couple feet from the tree? Why isnt the tree a little more scratched? The damage on the tree looks like it was from 30 years ago. Wheres all the engine fluids coming from the engine? Straight bullshit

Well, they do have lots of brick weed in Brazil. It comes from Paraguay. But something is fishy about this story. Why would the guy pack the whole car with bricks that were plainly visible through the windows? They do have dark window tint down there...

there is no way that many bricks would fall out of the doors when open.... where did they fit? doesn't make sense....

Would that ride even hold up a half ton?

half ton is approx 1000 lbs.... thats like 4 average size americans  ... i say it could easily hold that...

they should build his coffin out of those bricks like lincoln logs.

In Brazil, they don't use coffins. I kid you not. They have walls made of rocks, and they just lay the body in a kind of crypt, and just cover the opening with rocks. Smells really bad there. Had a friend die there years ago, and the Brazilian government wanted $10,000 to send the body back to the states. Family said, "F" that, leave him there. After three years, they remove the bones and I believe they are cremated, at least in this case they were. I think you have the option of cremation or burial at that point. May be different in different areas, but that's how they do it in Rio.
Bizarre, to say the least.

Yeah i was gonna say, doesnt anyone think the tree had anything to do with it?

But that shit looks fake. Not cause they dont brick weed like that. They definitely do. But theres no way he was trying to transport all that weed, in that tiny car with clear windows. And it doesnt even look close to possible that all those bricks were in that car.
