Peering down a partitioned side slot that aligns with the top grills and vents spent air from the ends of the extruded aluminum tube heatsink/exhaust. Yeps finally a fixture that vent's warm air up and outta the grow. It's even fitted nice and snug so it doesnt suck back up the warm air, nice stuff!

Everythings pretty sturdy quality, even the threads for the housing screws, an important aspect!
O13803568152437266_9.jpg

Here you can see that all the housing pieces are coated/finished 360*.

Here are the light modules attached to the tubular sinks without the fascia.

Here you can see the pretty good looking quality, optic lens, and how they are attached via posts and a holding plate. Quality designing everywhere!

O13803568152437266_13.jpg

Here you can see the "zener" diode that jumps the circuit if a emitter dies, glad to see it's not just a claim!

O13803568152437266_14.jpg

Quality connectors, no hot glue here!

O13803568152437266_15.jpg

Here is a view from the bottom/light emitting side of the panel peering into the vent port that feeds cool air from the grill/grow area below, into the housing, through the fans, and past the heatsink.

O13803568152437266_16.jpg

Lastly a ghetto diagram of how the housing intake/exhaust runs for the cooling. Probably the only style fixture I have seen that doesn't blow the air out the sides.

Cheers!

Quick update on the "bush". Fabbed a quickie scrog frame and weaved away, here's the result's...

And here you can see, plenty of headroom left even if I gotta move the screen up.

Quick update, Day 4 of Veg (Since the SCROG came down...), and I am quite impressed with the spectrum/unit thus far. They have finally gotten over their shock from the uncut FFOF, and have really started to perk up! I estimate an inch of growth average on he bigger colas, and tight tight node spacing, about 4-6 in that inch.

It almost looks like a different plant. They outpace anything I have, even the sun.

U13809271682437408_3.jpg

Quite some lush growth, not a hint of stretch...

U13809271682437408_4.jpg

Quite bare under there... Threw some sheets of panda to kick back light up under the canopy.

Close up of the branching developed thus far, all old/burnt growth has been defolied so thats all from the Apollo (Even the side noding is more vigorous then before...).

U13809271682437408_6.jpg

A better, higher view of the canopy... Note the outer 14 holes contain the 11 larger "main" cola's, and the inside 9 have about 8 "baby" cola's.

Canopy view in relation to the light height...

U13809271682437408_8.jpg

Far back and whole tent shot...

U13809271682437408_9.jpg

And finally, how much headroom I got when the rarchets are set to the highest (I could then get another 6" hanging it straight to the roof...). The intensity got me wanting to veg to just below where the tent poles join, since this Sour D pheno stretches about 1.5x like a Indy with very little lower side branching that are very manageable.

Cheers!

Thank's Solo! I am quite impressed my self every morning I open my "oasis" (Truely "morning wood"! Bwahaha...). I don't think it will disappoint in the flowering department, a little over 70% of output is in the red spectrum ;P .

Here's a little update to show just how effective this new unit I got is. Really impressed with the growth of my spectrum!

Here's an overview, plenty of height gained, with nodes to match...

Q13811204382435952_1.jpg

Each of the cola's have started to fill up, and the screen is nice and even. I have since re-arranged the smaller cola's a bit.

Q13811204382435952_2.jpg

Vertical growth...

Q13811204382435952_3.jpg

Close-up of node spacing, about a CM...

Q13811204382435952_4.jpg

Another branch shot, the growth is quite even....

Q13811204382435952_6.jpg

Headroom as is, still plenty of room...

Q13811204382435952_7.jpg

And finally a quick look at the spectrum of each pod on, 6-660nm 5-630nm 1-740nm 1-450nm 1-2700k and 1-6400k (I would replace the 6400k for a 4500k or 5000k if i could re-do it...).

Oh and I wanted to ask anybody familiar with SCROG, considering this pheno is pretty Indica leaning (Single pole, very little, mainly lower branching...), should I veg longer to maximize yield considering this light can penetrate the height of the tent? I am very eager to flip, as the lady has not only grown vertically, but the girth of the plant and fan leafs alone are bigger than I have from grown this strain before... May drop the hammer now for some x-mas smoke, cause even if each cola only yields 2 grams I would still hit a zip and the grow would be self sufficient...

wow dude I want to get me an LED grow light...

Go for it cheesebud, treat your ladies to some L.E.D. love, bet they'll love the disco!

So I ended up cutting the light cycle back to 12/12 on 10/6 (Maybe 10/7, forgot to write it down...) so that put's us at Day 4 of flowering.

Here's the tent...

3 days and "IIIImmm Baaacccck" (Officially Day 7, 1 week of flowering, w00t w00t!)! Gotta re-iterate right quick, I am LOVING this light! They started their slow stretch creep the past 2 days, whilst still maintaining their node composure (Hopefully some dense nug's, this pheno chunks up fast...). Gave em a light dose of a tweaked GO flowering mix on 10/11, and the very end tips of the big fans kinda burned a tinge, but the new growth is still rapid and yellowing so I think it could be some stuff from the FFOF breaking down. The light feeding definitely brought out the budset and helped stimulate the stretch. I flushed with a equal amount of water the next day just in-case. She digged it I think, strains definitely a lush (Heavy drinker, lol...).

Overall.
