That's just 1 license, they still have the pps license too n I'd bet they're not needing to destroy anything so they should still have plenty of garbage on hand.
I don't see anything falling apart other than the mmar myself.

Only thing that makes the government do anything is court mandates, they've proven that time, n time again, I dunno where ppl keep getting these idias that they're just going to get thier way, just because.lol
Shit thre's so many smart business ppl that'd never look twice at any sort of business that's had anything to do with the government, cause the gov always fucks things up n screws ppl over.

Ppl got to stop pretending the mmar was anything more than a small splintered group of the actual patient population even with as many of them that most likely aren't even sick at all.
They'll have more than double the mmar's numbers in no time basicly over ruling anything any mmar participants say or want.
They'll be the majority.
mmar's nxt to irrelivant already, besides the fact it was nothing but a discriminatory program in the 1st place which is why HC will never license patients ever again.
It's a discriminatory practice from the get go n they know it'll do nothing but lose them cases.
Name 1 other deadly medication of any sort that requires such registration from patients?
It's ridiculous even wanting such an absurd program to be kept running really.
It'll get to a point soon enough where the only ppl crying about where things are going is the producers bitching about legalization cause they'll lose market share just like in the US.
All I see is self centered bitching n whining from alot of "patients", n frankly I'm not sure I'd consider anyone not willing to just keep on growing as being deserving of the meds anyhow.
As long as how many have been fighting n dealing with consequences that got everyone to where things are now.

I think that what he was getting at is that these guys were underground before MMAR, came above ground to get rich by abusing the MMAR and will now gladly go back underground and reap the rewards of raising prices as the market corrects itself.

but once the non profits start and bring the price down to 2-3$ a gram (what the realistic market rate should be as this is not a vice product with social and health expenses)

When was distilling alcohol at home ever as easy as tossing a seed in some dirt?
Besides the point is made invalid when there are plenty of ppl using the easy method of fermentation to make plenty of home made wine, n beer all over.
plus the black market for harder booze isn't based around 40's style home disstilleries it revolves around manufactured bottled product just like what's sold in stores, just at a better rate n un taxed.
We used to buy 40's, n 60's of booze for cheap from bootleggers all the time when I was a kid n that wasn't all that long ago.
So why would the market lose value when the value of the commodity is going to rise since unlicensed production will than again be illegal n risky as it was b4 the mmar or just taken over by others who don't care who had it easier with the mmar.
Besides if I wanted crap commercial weed I'd already have access to that as easily as any other tom dick or harry or thier kids.
Non profits were a joke on anyone who believed they weren't just for false legitimacy, and to call it a (high paying) job position instead of profit.
I'd imagine tax benefits were included also.

Well, people do smuggle bootleg/homemade liquor into a number of "dry" Northern communities. Personally I think that the black market will be alive and well under the new program.

Any one can and is allowed to make booze in your home, along with buying it from a supplier, or going to a bar and countless other ways to get and or use it, including the black market(the bootlegger)...Yes, bootleggers exist.
When the MMPR is implemented this March, no one will be allowed to make any homegrown, for any reason, the only legal way to get it, is to buy it from a licensed supplier...PERIOD! If a market exists for illegal booze and there's countless ways to get it, legal or not, and only one way to get Pot, then there will be a black market for Pot, Weed, MJ, Medicine, what ever you want to label it. That's a given, even if they legalize it, same as booze.
Bottom line...The only people that won't be able to access Pot, Weed, MJ, Medicine, legally, will be the ones who need it the most. These were the people that fought for a government medical MJ program, by getting busted and going to court to change the laws, but now they won't be allowed grow it or be able to afford to buy it.
To all those that got Speed Boats, Nice Cars and had Great Holiday's by abusing the MMAR...I say THANK YOU so very much!!!!.

Even still none of what they say they're doing actually matters when anyone they were to bust for still growing would still be exempt from the cdsa, n the fact is since that'd be the case it wouldn't even be a criminal offense as much as it would be a civil/business matter imo.
You're not breaking any laws that apply to you, just Hc's regulations, but if you're not a business than thier consequences wouldn't apply to you either.
I still say the biggest issue is gonna be for participants who have the idea HC's not gonna hand over thier names when places like mission are hell bent on getting access to every grow in thier city to make sure they're "remediated".
They're like a dog on that bone n don't seem to even care if HC's playing ball or not now like they've confirmed the RCMP has most of those addy's already as it is, which they most likely do, if not all of them.
Though least at that point the real sick low income earners will be able to get legal aid, the rest will just be the abusers who caused the mess in the 1st place.

Like Sam mallaces plans to speak out today about how he'd like to see everyone stick up for his right to get a free ride, n not have to follow the rules everyone else will so that he can keep profiting off the sick n dying.
