I wonder what's under the avocado, looks like some sort of hummus.

Tonights dinner Chuleta frita an Arroz con Habichuelas

I marinated country style pork chops ( 3/4 or 1 inch thick ) for 2 days in adobo, sazon ,garlic powder, paparika .Than pan fry high /med high heat for almost 9 minutes each side for a nice crisp outside but still juicy inside .

I love that chicharron aka burnt fat an I love eating around the bone its the best part .If i order this dish out i somtimes forget were i am an just get busy

The rice i start with abit vegetable oil ,half onion finely minced an 4-6 garlic cloves pressed paste type sautee almost 5 mins than add 1 pack sazon sautee 2 mins than add sofrito an abit adobo cook almost 4 mins this whole time stirring frequently .I than add the habichuelas an fresh cilantro from my garden cook about 5 mins again than add my rice an mix it up an cook for a few minutes to coat rice before adding water .

I add the water till about half inch above the rice bring to a boil an stir till some water starts to evaporate takes just a few minutes .Than lower the heat to simmer an about 30- 40 mins your rice will be perfect .

Had to give the recipe Dinner was amazng not much to look at from the pic but flavors are heavenly
